I found out after surgery that I had 2 cancerous lumps-does that change my prognosis?  1 lump was 1.6 with big clear margins, the other .6 with pretty wide clear margins.  no lymph nodeinvasion, er/pr+, and her2-.  They did a biopsy on a third little lump also but found it to be b9.  I have lots of cysts, does that make a difference also?  wishing i'd had a double mast.  Tami

Hi Tami -- no lymph node invasion!  That's your take-home message.  That's great news!

I have six small under 1 cm tumours -- what matters for your prognosis is that they get them all out and that it hasn't spread to your lymph nodes.

    God bless.

    Tami,

great results.  No lymph invasion HUGE!  Your tumors are small so that is something.  I had two one was 1.3 cm the other 2 cm, no node invasion.  Early stage 2.  Your prognosis looks good.  They will monitor your other breast frequently.  Hey no regrets!  Look ahead things look good.  Many blessings to you.

I had 2 tumors, a cyst that had cancerous cells in the fluid, dcis and lcis.

My surgeon told me number of lumps does not change your prognosis.

Your stage, grade and other prognostic markers are really good.
