my family has had women on my mum and my dad's side and i was wondering if i have a risk at getting breast cancer myself? and i have found lumps. one on my left and one on my right.Frown

    Hi Biancca - if you find a lump the best thing is to get it checked out.  Make an appointment and don't wonder.

    BC can hit those of us with relatives that have had it as well as those that have clear relatives.  My mother and sister both had BC. 

    Call your gynecologist or your doctor, make an appointment, get looked at - they you don't have to worry - breast cancer is treatable, but it may not even be cancer.  Good luck.

    high biancca_b my name is cartie was doig. 9/07 suregy in 10/07 rad. 12/07 i'm the first in my family to have bc its been 2years now and i still have worries but it better now just take lories advice and see your doctor good luck Smile
