Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird.
Edit to say: Good morning Beachettes. Hope it's a Beachy day.

Morning Beachies...........
Oh what an awesome night we had. Our concert....Third Day and Brandon Heath was awesome. They are Christian Rock musicians and we were "rockin' with Jesus" in a major way...
Seriosly, it was a great time......and we had a great time. Kind of like being in Heaven-----a packed house all praising the Lord in song!! In my heart, it doesn't get much better than that. Dinner with our friends at Victoria's was awesome too. Such yummy food....and boy did we bring the leftovers home. Guess what we are having today........It was a late one though. Didn't crawl into bed till 1:15 a.m. (that's after turning the clocks ahead an hour) so didn't roll out till 7:45 this morning.I hope all you guys have a wonderful day today. Sending hugs and love to you all....I'd love to mention you all by name like many of you do so often but could never remember all your names....know I hold you ALL in my heart though..........does that count?

Hugs,
Mary Jo
-
It sure does count Mary Jo. Glad you had such a lovely evening last night. Does the body and soul good.
Hugs back at ya.
-
Thank you Sharon.
-
Hey everybody! My brain is getting swiss cheesey too....so I may not be doing too much name calling:) But.....so glad you had a good time Marejo. That sounds like fun!!
Hope everyone is feeling well today and enjoying their Sunday.
A good day for a little R&R

WOW.. ya'll might need a magnifying glass to see these pics

-
I just got back from an hour long walk with doggus. It is so lovely out. Very little snow left AND I saw a flock of robins!! They are back. Spring is here. Poor things though, they usually come back and then get snowed on.
Hugs Coonie, I hope you are getting rested up from your week spent with that slave driving DH of yours
.The beach is rather quiet lately.
Gentle hugs to all and hope your day is going well. Maybe that's why nobody is here.

-
I thought I better post a beach pic and keeping with the bird theme.........
-
Hugs back at ya Sharon. Birds, horses....all kind of things on the beach.
Oh, and it's gonna be 81 degrees here today......TOO HOT!
Are you serious Coonie? That hot?
This pic isn't really on topic, but so pretty.

-
I'm serious!! I'm dreading the summer months sooooooooo bad!!!
Pic is gorgeous Sharon. Looks very peaceful~~
-
I don't like the heat either Coonie. But more so the humidity. Just knocks the stuffing out of me. Not good for LE either.
Lets hope for cooling breezes.
-
oh yeah!!!!!!! cool breezes are nice!
Is that Faith?!!!!

-
Holy cow Coonie, I think you are right.
Yep, I'm sure of it now 'cause she mentioned looking for manatees.

Edit to say.........I'm quite funny and just realized it now when I said holy cow. Arent' manatees called sea cows?
-
A few signs of spring in my back yard today. Notice the date on my camera is 2004!!!!
I better change the date, huh? Is it 2009??

Opie looking for something stinky to roll in

-
Love the last one the best Coonie. The blossoms are beautiful. Ya, I'm pretty sure you can add 5 years to your display.
-
changed camera date to 2009

These are just popping up out of the ground around my bird bath.
They WILL turn into flowers........I promise!

My Lady Banks bush should be covered in a few days. There's only a few blooms now.

-
Beautiful Coonie, but where are the puppers?
-
ok....sorry, I was just practicing my photography skills

Back to the beach now. I think you're right Sharon.
Here is Faith......in the water with the manatees!!

-
OK......here's the puppers.....trying to get them both together AND to
smile for Aunt Sharon is impossible. This is the best I could do:)

-
Was that your foot, Coonie?
So far that's the most evidence I have of your actual existence!!
We had sooooooooooo much fun on our adventure! We stayed INSIDE the kayak, but saw dozens of lounging, lumbering SEA COWS (funny, funny woman, you!) I got one sorta decent picture, as a big one glided right past my camera.
There were many folks who were snorkeling among them..... they'd rented the full body wet suits for their adventure. I was happy to paddle along.
MJ. So glad to hear you had a great time with friends & that the concert was so uplifting.
Everyone must be out appreciating the warmer weather.
I've gotta go start getting organized for the return to 'real life' tomorrow!!! What a send off.
(I'm not a happy-packer usually, and you'd think as often as I'm packing & unpacking I could get over that, but just deplore the thought of leaving DH here in paradise..... ah, must get back to work.... the place will be here next winter!)
Pics over on the blog.... I'll see if I can get a couple thru photobucket.
-
I meant to announce to everyone that I see tomorrow is Saint's birthday. (Facebook reminder) I started a thread over in the Mets/Recurrance area. I saw that you've already posted Coonie: thanks. I'm sure she'll be grateful if you can find that thread.
We can also have a birthday party here in her honor...... maybe that will lure her back beachside.

They're gettin' ready to rock out in your basement, again, Saint:

-
Hi Beachie Gals,
Yesterday I could not get to the beach because I was so depressed and woe is me! Right now I am feeling so much better emotionally that it is hard to even relate to the me of yesterday. Now a friend has just arrived so I will check back in later.
-
I just love bromeliads when they grow in a garden
rather than a pot...I saw lots at the zoo..

-
Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmgoodnesssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!
Allen just walked in from our community center -- running up to see if there was any mail that I needed before heading north.
AND LOOK WHAT HE FOUND!!
Happy Valentine's Day............. in plenty of time to beat St. Patrick's Day!

And the chocolate was still in mighty fine condition.......... WAS!!!
-
Here's us in the crystal clear, amazing see-the-bottom, waters.

-
There's a real live, sea-cow, manatee in this picture....... but you'll have to look carefully.
