The fact that winter is OVER..........

The birds singing in the morning.

absolutely the humming birds and the butterflies, winter is so drab without them...

The time change. Another hour + of daylight. That means it isn't dark when I leave work.

Watching the birds and clouds in the sky without getting cold!

...seeing Robins and Bluebirds in the back yard and the 1,000 daffodils sprouting. I didnt plant them and am ever grateful to whoever did--they are magnificient when in bloom! Was able to open doors/windows today to get warm, fresh breezes--but, the breeze turned into gale force winds, so had to close some doors/windows. I love spring!!!

sitting in a loung chair in the nice warm sunshine letting the sun warm you to your bones...aaaahhhhh..........janet (also the smell of wild flowers like shooting stars)

The newness of everything....opening the doors and windows...getting out and walking again....the smell of fresh sheets on the bed that have hung outside on the clothesline all day(my 2nd fav thing) my very favorite thing about spring....:LILACS!! I love the smell of them all through the house!!

Taking a walk after work with my puppy and smelling the barbuce grill cooking from someones house and I am starving that is something that must be a close step to heaven...

The patio door is open, fresh air coming in; the birds are chirping; the sun is behind some clouds but it is still 65 degrees. If I could hang laundry outside, but I am in an apartment. Gonna go for a walk and enjoy the warmth.

Yesterday my daughter and I opened the windows in the house, took a long walk, and stopped for an ice cream cone. Take that winter!!!

packing away the heavy winter clothing, the perennials poking through the ground, opening the windows and letting the stale winter smells go, and the fresh spring air in, but most of all--parking my sorry arse out on my deck with a good book and a tall glass of iced tea. ahhhhh... life can be good,can't it??????????

When we get a few days of 70 degree weather and then it goes back to 22 but we know its just a temp situation spring is coming ..

To walk around and see Gods handy work.

Crocuses! forsythia (not yet in Cleveland, but they're coming!).
No more snow (well, not too much more)!
Lettuce almost ready to pick in the garden that I planted under a plastic cloche in November.

To be able to come home and its not dark.
And have a picinic.

To sit outside and have a picnic.

To enjoy a walk without freezing!
