Hi. Thanks for thinking of me. I was pretty sick there for a while and with rest will get past this.
-
O.K. all you ladies. Thank you all for the cool welcome flip flops. I have no choice but to hang around here, because everyone is sooooooo incredibly nice on this thread. I really was just hanging in here enjoying these fabulous pictures. Lisa thank you for putting out some more dandies. Do I have permission to paint some that stand out in my artistic eyes???
I just had to compose myself because I just cracked up when I saw the picture of the lady laying on the rocks. HA! I bet that hurt. It was so nice and warm today...50 degrees. Made me want to go to the beach. I live on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Thanks again ladies..I'll check in again, Hugs, Artsee
-
MaryJo......Did you really go to Victorias in Appleton? Did you know they have one in Green Bay?

You beach babes crack me up! I love all the pics, and Coonie.............the spankings and the Seinfeld one cracked me up!
So tired this week, never slept so much! Can not seem to shake whatever is going on with my body........dreamwiter, hope you are feeling better too!
Faith, that is so awesome to hear about your daughter! Congrats! You must be so proud...
Checkum, hope you are feeling better with NO DRAINS! Yahoo! Did you mention to the doc about the foot pain? Curious what he said....
Toyful, so fabulous that your son is going with you to Hawaii! Have room for one more? Promise, you will not even know that i am there! I do hope you are feeling better..
Hope everyone is well. SoCalLisa, Spar, Footie, Faith, Coonie, Julz, Dreamwriter, Marejo, maryLou and all those here......HUGS to every single one of you!!! This is short and lame, and I am sorry! My bed is calling my name, again!

This tide was playing with the sand on Wednesday...look at what it left for us..

-
Ohhhhhhh, so beautiful!
Hammock did wonders for my sleep, needed that rest!
Here is to a partly cloudy day with humidity at 50% with sunny skies! Hugs!

-
GOOOOD Morning Beachettes. Lets get up and at 'em.

It looks like it's going to be a glorious day.

I'm going to take my tea and enjoy the view. Hope all can join.

-
A peaceful day to one and all.

-
Oh wowowow. What a glorious array of vistas to start my day. Thanks to all for adding to the glory here. What amazing scenes are part of this ol' world of ours.
CurlieQ I'm so glad to hear from you. So sorry there has been yet more adaptation to your 'new normal' (what-ever that means.) I'm hoping that you and your body will be making peace with all of the new expectations shortly.
Toyful hoping that the new hydration has givien your body just what it needs. When exactly do you leave for paradise? I'm just picturing that little cottage calling your name. Did you have a ball with your new friend?
Spar, Sharon & MJ, thinking of the three of you together -- each having lost a dear friend. Go glory in the beachs above and wish your loved ones eternal happiness.
Julz -- what's going on with Sara?? Are they at your place? Are ya gonna have gazoodles of pictures to share shortly.
Dream -- so glad to see your post as well. You've been put thru so much recently and with perseverance and determination, you're here amidst us.Bravo, tough cookie. Bravo!
Coonie -- what's with all of this working lately?? Is that typical?? Do you get some time off for good behavior?? Enough already. Enough.
That takes my addled brain over to JazzyOne...... are you gonna be able to play at water's edge with us for a while this weekend? Wishing you well, as always.
Footie, how about all of that lemonade that Julz shared earlier? It was literally sparkling.
Lisa, Artsee sending you creativity in a basket, tied up with the ribbons of spring....
Checkum, now I realize that we haven't heard a lot from you lately. Focus on the day's progress. Soak in the healing ability of your body. Give your mind some happy distraction, too. All the best.
Yes. I need to make a list. Just can't trust these scattered brain cells of mine.
Big hugs to each and all, back & forth, up & down, A to Z and 1 to 100.
The sun's peeking thru:

Good Morning everyone....Man, do I love those pictures. Looks so warm and inviting. I can't wait for that.
Yes artsee we really are going to Victoria's in Appleton. The friends we are meeting their are staying in Appleton for the weekend so we will go their and then back track to Green Bay for the concert. It's only 1/2 hour.
You all have a wonderful day.......sending love and God's Peace to you all.
Mary Jo

Saying hello to all and have a great day. It looks like rain here in okie land and I hope so, we need it so very much. We have been under a burn ban for awhile and so many fires. My son-in-law is firecheif so he keeps us all informed on the fires. Granddaughter is here and we are going to rent a movie from redbox. Hope everyone has a day full of laughter, love, happiness, and Gods blessings

GD is the one in the green

Great pic Spar!! The game must have been a hoot to watch. Yes, your brown grass does look a little dry. As our snow is melting here I kind of forget we all come from very diverse weather regions.
-
Today's Quote:

"Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy;they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."
-Marcel Proust
You charming gardners, you've made my soul blossom!
-
Love the pic Spar! Faith, the flowers are most relaxing and the quote is oh so true!
Snow melting here too Sharon, I am so ready for those flowers Faith sent us! I pray for rain Spar!

-
When I went to the real beach on Wednesday this was blooming there..I have no idea
what it is..

-
It's so perfect looking Lisa it almost looks artificial. Thank you for sharing all your creations. I especially love what you find in the sand.
-
OK Beachies not much time as I have some things I have to do.....
No Grand Pix this time....My DIL is not doing so well & they could not come to visit....The Doc's started her on Predinisone yesterday....They can't do the whole arsenal of meds because she got Pancreatitis from them the last time & had to be Hospitalized for that.....so it is going to take time & prayers that it was caught early this time & that she does not go into a huge flare up.......Unfortunately this will be her Reality for ever as well as my son as he has Crohnes....The hard part is knowing that this is hereditary......Not only for the Grand Babe.....but we are looking at the possibility of major Stomach issues with 2 more of my 4 sons......maybe Crohnes. Time will tell!
I must run Now.....hopefully later I can come & Play Some!!!
Waving Hi! With the Waves......

Julz, I'm really sorry to hear about your DIL and all the issues there. Prayers that this flareup simmers down quickly. How disappointing and worrysome. Thinkin' 'bout ya!

Im doing ok. Working on a special project to keep the juices running. I really would like to sit on the beach and put my toes in a real ocean. No sharks. Promise no sharks unless they are the lawyer type and I can handle them.
-
Just go ahead and put your toes in Dream......no sharks in our "cyber oceans"

Hope you're feeling better...

-
Coonie..Thank you for the welcome. It is soooo relaxing on the beach after this long, cold, snowy winter. The pictures are truly lovely. Going to bed, church comes early and don't forget we loose an hour tonight! God Bless you all and keep you healthy.

early morning kayak call
(especially so due to time change: LOL)
-
We would like you to know that we have started a thread under Palliative Therapy/Hospice Care about our thoughts about being Stage 4. The idea was a straight line from reading TripNeg's Thread - Facing the Invitable. I have felt a need to draw strength from others who fear what I fear and celebrate each minor step because there are fewer steps left along my path. I know that many sisters already walk with me. Here is a spot where we can say things openly.
-
We're off to commune with nature this morning, our kayak awaits.
Morning has broken, like the first morning............... (cue the tunes)
Everybody have a great day together. Will be getting organized for tomorrow's departure, upon returning.
