Amen.
-
This literally swept up on the beach yesterday...wonder what it is....

-
A ball of sea weed? I don't know but I'd sure grab it, dry it and do something with it for a decoration. It's beautiful.
-
Love those beach pictures!!!!!
Goodmorning to everyone and thanks for your hugs. I am going to hug and pet all my animals before getting a shower and getting ready to go pick up my mom. She is best friends with my friends mother so am kind of worried about how she will do.
So glad Checkum will get those drains out.
I know Jaz is working extra hard this week but will probably get to come out and play with us this weekend.

Here is some smiles for the picnic
-
-

here is Lisa
-
Hugs Spar, I hope things go as well as they can under the circumstances. Don't forget kleenex and water.
-
I'm sure everyone is going to need some time on the beach when they get home.
I'm arranging the chairs.

Getting some fancy drinks ready,
Something to munch on.

And some entertainment while we relax and chat about the day.

I hope all can come.
-
I feel like dancin..... yeah.....

-
Checkum, did they remove the drains? Is that why you feel like dancing?
-

Hello Beachettes! I was totally MIA yesterday as I was so faint I could not even lift my lap top onto my bed and open it up! Finally I went to the hospital and got IV fluids. I woke up this morning feeling human again.
I don't know what is going on with my the picture of my family that I keep trying to post! It sounds like maybe it showed up for 15 minutes and then disappeared. I can't see it anymore either. Maybe I can post a link to it.
Anyway, one day off the beach and I really missed everyone. Yesterday I was feeling lost and hopeless. All I could think of was getting my affairs in better order. But today I am back to embracing the day and not worrying about tomorrows.
It sounds like checkum got her drains out! I am just deducing that from the fact it is pretty hard to dance with those pesky drains!
-
Julz, enjoy that Grandbabe as much as you can.
-
-
Yes it sure is faith. I've been praying for a young woman for the past, oh I'd say - 5 - 8 years, who had cancer. Not breast cancer BUT does it really matter what kind. Anyway, she passed away today at the age of 42. So sad. The good news....her and her husband are strong people of faith - love their Jesus and trusted in Him all the way. Pam is now resting in the arms of her Jesus but unfortunately, that doesn't take away the sadness and pain her husband is now going through. So, yes, enjoy each day you've been given.......Thanks for the reminder faith.
Mary Jo
Looks like I came in on the wrong page. I was responding to faiths quote about enjoying getting older....
-
No worries Marejo, it still fits.
-
wowzers!!!!!!!!!! Ya'll have had a busy day today. One thing that keeps going over in my head is Doggus is Wally? I thought doggus was doggus, but I guess Wally is actually Doggus? So.....we have Wally?
And Sharon, I looked everywhere for you today, and you did NOT show up for work! What am I going to do with you. I sure hope you got our Hawaii trip planned. It's good to see Toy is feeling better today. Checkum got her drains out?? Maybe? I saw her dancing I think?
MJ and Spar ---so sorry about your losses. That's really hard, I know. ((((((hugs to both of you))))
Faithie---I think there is a horrid pic of me on the "cute" thread.......IF you haven't found it yet, but don't look too hard
You can definitely tell I've been through a few surgeries and chemo!! Not one of my better pics, that's for sure!Lisa, I'm loving those waves you got on your camera. They're saved as my background on my puter. It's sooooooo pretty. I can just hear 'em now

Footie, hope you're having a good day today. Pop in when you can. I would love to see your footprints.
Curlie.....you too! Are you feeling better? I sure hope so! Maybe you should not work for awhile??
Mary-Lou----praying for you too!! Hope everything is going ok.
AlwaysHope----I know you're getting together some beautiful knitting squares.
Dream---how's the tummy today? My DH has had a touch of something today. Just on the verge of barfing. Says he thinks he would feel better if he could.
Julz...you sure post some beeeuuutiful pics. Your imagination must be GRAND!
OK.....now I'm gonna find my chair and sit and catch up on what's going on around here. I hope I didn't miss anyone......
OK...........I'm just gonna lay down on these rocks....forget the chair

-
Beachies. Just 'talked' to our Julz over on FB (facebook) via chat.......
Her DIL Sara is sick again......
round up the prayers
-
(((((((((((((((Sara)))))))))))))
What's wrong with her Faith? Did she tell you?
-
Me real Quick .....She has Ulcerative Colitis (sp)!
Was Hopitalized for a week a month after The Grand Babe was born....then later with Pancreatitis because of the meds for the first.
(((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS TO ALL)))))))))))))))))))))))
I gotta go to the Store for Milk & a few things....
No time tonight! Thank You ALL!
I will be back tomorrow......
-
(((((((((((Julz))))))))))) I'll be praying for your family to be well! You all need to be able to enjoy the visit.
-
My real phone just rang and it was DD2.
With so many here having such a challenging day, I'm trying to decide if it's ok to share some really GREAT news?? I hope that you will all be tickled by this.
She just had gotten home for the evening to open her mail & she'd received a letter from the Univ of Maryland that they are offering her a massive scholarship for her doctoral program. Her assistantship will be to play in the orchestra! So she will be getting 'paid' to do what she loves more than anything on earth.
All of this amazingness, after she'd been told that this year's assistantship was being cancelled due to economics of the time. She's been running around the U attempting to find work on her own. Now she will have the 'easiest' of all work, do what you love.
There are good things that do unfold.
Am saying prayers for each and all on our beach.
So much that is happening for all of us.
Be strong. Be patient. Have faith. Trust. Have courage. And hope hope hope hope hope!!
