Awwhhhh cooooool! Mary-Lou. You're beautiful. Your hair is GORGEOUS!!! I can't wait for mine to grow out!!! Thanks for sharing !!
-
Mary Lou so good to see YOU!!! Simply Beautiful .....I Love the Smile!!! Hang in there with the Diabetes.....Follow the Dr's Plan.....Start Walking if your not already! Another Hurdle in your Path....when you so don't need it...... (((((((((HUGS))))))))))
Coonie I had made a list with some 20 names + that I wanted to pray for at church this morn....got to church & forgot it. So I took a paper out of my purse & borrowed a Crayon from the little girl beside me & proceeded to write All the Names I could remember.....I think I got them all. Then started my road of special blessings & prayers for All on the list!!! Whether needs Great or small!
-
-
Thanks Coonie....
Hey I just found out that we lost Twink....This makes me so sad.
Twink
-
I know Mary-Lou
We need to pray for each other.......but we also need to pray for the doctors and scientists to get a CURE for this JUNK!!! There are too many people losing their battle, and we don't need anymore to go!
-
Hi Beachies! Thanks so much for all of your prayers and good thoughts being sent my way. As Julz mentioned earlier, I went to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance because they could see me immediately, unlike the emergency room. I got 2 liters of fluid, but that really did not change anything in the way I felt. Athe SCCA I did not get any answers about my neck swelling because they think that requires greater minds that will convene on Monday. I am not actually going to see anybody on Monday, but the oncology nurse will call me after talking with oncologist about my suddenly enlarged malignant tumor and my difficulty in swallowing, breathing, and now talking. If my swollen neck is a side effect of the contrast, it sure does not seem to be doing anything (like swelling going down) even though I am continuously taking Benadryl.
My Kauai trip is on the line here PEOPLE! Somehow it is not even on the top 4 list of my worries, but it is somewhere close. I guess I am just surrendering all of this icky stuff to the Universe for it to somehow work out for me. It definitely feels beyond my control!
Love to All. Will post back tomorrow when I know more! Or even if I know less!

Toy I think you are new, or maybe old to this thread. I wanted to just say hi, and let you know that our prayers are with you.

Wow Mary-Lou..what a great pic..and you are so pretty..
love that hair.
I use a Canon S5IS powershot...I
think the newer version is SX10 IS with lots more whistles and bells..
and more $$
But I did the many lenses with my 35mm cameras and now I don't want
to bother with them...just the camera, thanks...
I does almost everything I need...

Wow. I was gone for the day & look at all that's happened on our beach:
1. Sharon has progressed so much in her photo skills that she's giving lessons to Lisa.
2. Coonie is in the process of learning how to post pictures.
3. Julz has taken us round the globe with amazing pics.
4. Checkum has checked in and we're gonna help keep her from going stir crazy this week.
5. Much praying has happened from all sorts of beach combers.
6. Mary Lou has become the beach princess of the day with that golden smile.
7. Spar has kept us up to date on her travels and sent out search parties for those missing.
8. Toyful has been able to give us the details so our prayers can be more specific.
wowowowowowowow................
Just love to see all of the caring and support (as always) that takes place on our shores.
Much love.
Had a very lovely day with my parents. The weather was extreme, but we are safely home to our place and the roof is still in place -- so happy day.
Thanks for all of the gorgous views and the great deal of hope expressed.
Today while I was praying for everyone (at church) I just got over whelmed with missing our Alaska Deb and thinking of her daughters at church without her..... We do need to continue to petition the heavens for a cure. In the mean time, we'll keep asking for individual miracles for those in need.
-
Faithie......so good to see you're safe and sound. It's such a blessing to be able to still have your parents with you, huh? Never take it for granted.
Sharon......gawsh, you shudda camed by ma howse and picked me up in that thar truck of yurn. I woulda loved me some sangin and dancin
-
While everyone continues in prayer for all of our 'beach family' I'd like to request your prayer support for my SIL Scott who is deployed this week for the Air Force and is flying that jumbo tanker plane to who-knows-where. Sarah is at home with the three wonder-kids on her own, since I'm down here w/DH. (It's times like this I wish I could clone myself.) All three have had a disgusting bug that the pediatrician figures they got in her office.
Send angelic intervention.
-
Saying a prayer for your SIL Scott and family now. and will everyday for protection, wisdom, comfort, peace, and strength and courage. hugs.
-
Hi Beach babes! I'm sorry I've been missing but I've been busy last week with some deadlines at work and then Saturday and today, I've been alternating between figuring out my taxes and then napping.
Faith, will definitely keep the prayer lines open for one of America's finest sons who put themselves out there for our freedom. We can never repay them or their families for the sacrifices they make for all of us.
Toyful, may your rest be full and peaceful tonight and may God give the doctors wisdome tomorrow to find you some relief.
Curlieq, welcome to the beach. This is a wonderful thread with warm and caring ladies.
Mary-Lou, so sorry to read about the diabetes.
Hugs to everyone else from A to Z.
-
Just found this thread because of Spars invitation to me to join. Thank you spar. This seems like a cool thread and I'd love to be a part of it.
Faith, asking God's protection for you son-in-law and for God's Peace to surround you all.
Hugs,
Mary Jo
