Counteracting Depression caused by Arimidex

I have been on Arimidex since May of 08 and now the side of effects seem to be really catching up with me.  I have a number of less unbearable side effects(chills, hot flashes, tendonitis, memory problems, and headaches) but the depression is the worse I have ever experienced.  Has anyone stayed on Arimedex and been successfully treated with an anti-depressant or changed drugs and gotten less side effects?  This is very serious depression and it is literally sucking the joy of living away.....thanks.

    All - Have you checked out the "hormones" forum here?  We've been discussing the SEs of the AIs, and it seems some gals have little or no side effects (bless their souls) and some of us have not such fun SEs. 

     I went off Arimidex this month, because of the unremitting pain, but most of us have depression symptoms and lots of us are on meds for that.  I think it must suck the seratonin out of us along with the hormones!
