Sharon, wish we could just mail lisa to your house. I am just checking in also, fixing to leave for church then lunch and take grandson home so it will be a while before I can check back in. Praying toyful is doing good. Thankful for curlie finding us. Bless all you beach girls. We'll do the beach together later.
-
Thanks Spar, actually I wish I could mail me to Lisa's house. Nicer weather there. I think our puter is a tad antiquated. (Kind of like the operator.)
-
Ok...here is my read on digital photography..
I do it my way...lol..the easy way
I download the free Picasa3 from Google
I bypass all my camera's software.
I use a card reader to transfer my pix to my puter..or maybe your puter has one built in
I view and download the pix to Picasa and fiddle with them..it is pretty easy
then export to my puter
So if you get that far then you join
the free photobucket and download your pix there
if you get that far then let me know...
-
LMAO.........Lisa thanks. I got as far as "Ok".
-
Getting ready for my photo lesson with Lisa.
-
I'm fairly good at copy and paste photography.

Hi Beachettes.....
I just got off the phone with Toyful....she is home & was resting.....She went in for hydration at the Chemo/Cancer Clinic Yesterday as they will see her faster. They hydrated her & will see her on Monday with her Dr's there.....she feels it's something in her neck (cancer?) & that everyday it's more painful to talk, breathe, & swallow. I could hear this in her voice! It sounds like Monday this will all be addressed with her Dr's. Tomorrow! So for now she will rest & take things very easy today....& try & find some comfort for the Day ahead.
Toyful Gentle Hugs & Prayers are sent your way when you feel you can let us know how you day goes tomorrow. ((((((((((((TOYFUL))))))))))))
-
Thankyou for the update Julz. Please give Toy my best if you are talking to her again. I was hoping this was still a reaction from the contrast die. Sigh, poor soul. We're praying and sending love and strength to you Toy.
Hugs Julz for making contact with her.
-
Your Welcome.....Sharon.
Something Beachy Beautiful for All....
-
Thankyou for that too Julz. Hugs.
-
-
Oh my, now that white house on the island is somewhat appealing but where do I walk the dog? I assume there is a lovely jut of land out behind covered in lush lawn.
-
Thank you for the fresh breath Julz.
-
Sure I found some wonderful pics but I can't post them.....
!
-
Thanks for the update Julz...
Toyful - I am glad you went in and I am thinking good thoughts for you to feel better soon ****
Sharon/Lisa --- this is getting funny to watch LOL
Anyway - thinking of all the beachies and wishing everyone a quiet and restful Sunday.
-
Hey Checkum. How are you feeling? Hopefully gaining strength day by day. When is your next physio appt? Careful you don't overdo it or you might look like this.
-
-
Hi Checkum.....How are you today? Gaining strength every day......we like you just the way You are....thats just some persons Nightmare of a Dream above! LOL!
Sharon.....that is beyond rediculous on any HUMAN!
! That gives a Whole New Meaning to bouncing a quarter off the old Abbs. SHEASH! I don't even like that on a guy.....LOL to Each His/Her own!
-
I like that little island too Julz but kind of small to fit all of us.
Gentle hugs and prayers to all here who need 'em.
-
I gotta go, I think that guy is looking for me
-
Feeling stronger every day. I am entering that danger zone of stir crazy.... I know I have to be very careful. My appt to get the drains out is scheduled for Thursday (or before if I get below 30 for 2 days).
I have some tissue that is necrotic (bummer) but, I suppose they will deal with it. All in all, I think I am doing ok. I would like to be sitting on a little towel on that nice little piece of beach watching this surfer dude! LOL
I have PT next week too - and I sure hope I don't look anything like what Sharon posted LOL scary! I am too fluffy for that.
-
Good to see you are progressing checkum..it never seems fast enough does it??
OK Sharon..I took these on my walk this morning...
-
Oh Checkum, my fingers are crossed for you that those drains come out on Thurs. Man, nearly two weeks. Sorry to hear about the necrotic tissue.........I hope that's not a big problem. May all else run smoothly!
I'm looking for a cute guy on the beach for you Checkum and all I'm finding is men in scanty swimsuits. Yuck!!! If I find one suitably attired I'll send him to you.
-
OMG Lisa!!! Are you serious? They are beautiful.
-
I guess the trick is to always have your camera with you...because you never know what will cross your path!!
-
Hey beachies!! I'm just looking at all the beeeeutiful pics posted today! You guys really make somebody crave the beach!!!
Prayed for Toyful at church this morning. Sure hope she's feeling better this afternoon. So good to see checkum too!!! Looks like you're getting there girl! Don't rush it even though you're feeling better. Once those drains come out, it will feel like you're not so tied down
Sharon, I laughed so hard when you said you made it to "ok"........that sound JUST LIKE ME!! I have pics on my computer, and I just cannot get them to post here!
Lisa, do you think you could swing by my place on your way to Sharon's?
Hugs to everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you're all having a good afternoon.
-
Lisa that is beautiful....I want to know what camera you use????
Sorry I have been MIA. I've been going through a little something called "Diabetes" Yet another journey. Good thing is I may really lose some weight.
Hugs to all who need a hug today for one reason or another.
-
FYI - We have lots of snow....I will try to post some pictures later.
-
Hey Mary-Lou......would love to see your pics too!!
I'm wanting to know the same thing about Lisa's camera. I think she
told us once, but I forgot
