yes Laura I was a little nervous, but my thoughts were along the lines of, 'what if I need to pee, will they stop the machine, or what if I sneeze....  stupid in the scheme of things, but alright.

I am going to copy/paste what I put on the met threads, so here goes and I will check in later.  I love you wonderful ladies so much!!

It was not bad at all, I got to throw in a CD of my favorite artists, took my xanax and fell asleep for a little while.  It took about 45 min, have a follow up with the dr. in 2 weeks, another brain MRI in 2 months, but fully believing that God has healed this small thing. Dr. said everything went well and in the follow up mri she expects to see nothing there.  She said the met or whatever it was was about the size of half of my pinky finger nail (I bit my nails and trust me there is not much of a nail!)

I am going to sleep off the Xanax now (those 1 MG are heavy duty doses!).

    Thank you for the prayers!

Diana - Thanks so much for updating us. A pinky finger nail is pretty darn small. I like that small image. Take care, rest and know that you are in God's hands. Take care my dear! - Jean

Thanks ladies.  I am feeling a little down today, it seems as if everyone is now holding their breath waiting for me to keel over.  ALL of my husbands friends have emailed me or said something on facebook and I specifically asked that not be done because my oldest looks at that stuff.  We chose not to tell the kids because I believe that the ZAPZAP did the trick and it won't come back again.  I am trying not to be upset and angry but I am.

Sorry that you have had a down day.  Hey, you quit thinking that people are waiting for you to "keel over"......Sista, that is not going to happen, at least not now when your little ones need you.  I pray for God to give you peace and to know that He is there with you every step of the way.  Remember that it WAS just a speckle and that first Zap got it, dried it up to nothing.....

Pray that you have a much better day tomorrow and that you have restful sleep tonight.

psalmist ~ thanks! I figured it out!  Great idea!!!!!

Thank you for the continued prayers.  I just had a kneeling down in the shower talk with God.  He heard me FOR sure ~ He couldn't have not heard me even if He had fingers in His ears!!  I cried so hard I hiccupped, snot rolling out, eye balls red and now my hair is all sticking out in different directions.  Thankfully my dear son told me it hurts when he gets soap in his eyes too  ~  you are so right Sandy, my kids are so special to me and I will FIGHT if not for me, but FOR them...

Signed up for the Komen walk this year... just an emotional day today....

The shower is a wonderful place to pray.  I use to pray every morning in the shower but somehow got away from doing it.  Thanks for reminding me of praying in the shower.  I will start back in the morning and my first prayer will be for God to give you a great weekend with your family and that you are cancer free .  I am glad that you got it all out in the shower.  That does a soul good!!  I think you will have a much better day tomorrow because of it.  So glad you took care of the FB postings.  We are here for you.......Love ya

I am smiling at your son's comment though the tears are running down my face.  Oh the things kids do say can make you smile even on the darkest days.

I'm sure all your husband's friends are thinking about you and hopefully adding their prayers to the rest even if they do seem to be a bit insensitive about how they are doing it.

    Diana,

I LOVE those snot-rolling down your face prayer times!  : )  It is assurance that you are not in this fight alone.  The creator of the universe is with you.  what an awesome thought.  I love the Scripture verse that says, in effect,  "Choose life!"  It is a little segment out of Deuteronomy 30:19 where God says, "This day... I have set before you life and death... Now choose life, so that you and your children may live."  Even though it is a reprimand to the nation of Israel (for not doing the right thing), that little portion of the verse has stuck with me and has been a motto for bad times -- choose life!

Hooray for the Komen walk - We will cheer you on.

Diana, loving and praying for you.  God laid on my heart at 3:00 am this morning to pray for several of you ladies here and I did.  My daughter had woken me up anyway, so I made good use of the time!  Laughing

Wow ~ 2 people waking up at 3 am praying for me.  I am so incredibly blessed to have all you wonderful ladies 'in my corner'.  I am taking one step at a time, remembering and rereading Psalms 91... that was what the pastor read to us in church yesterday.  I felt it so well, walking out of that sanctuary though brought some scary back.  I am stronger than yesterday, so I appreciate the prayers!!!  Keep them coming ~ but you can always wait until your normal waking hours! LOL

Diana, I was wondering the same things as psalmist.....about deleting those posts or "hiding" them on Facebook.  I do not know much about Facebook, but instead of fielding BC related comments, I would close it down temporarily and set up a yahoo email address [free] and use that one for communicating about your treatment, etc.  Or you could set up a blog,  which is what I did and later what I learned Laura did - and your kids do not need to see it or have access to it. After my diagnosis last October, my neighbor said, "people keep asking me how you are doing and so why don't you give me the updates and I can call them?  But I thought, why burden my friend/neighbor with that?  I will update them PERSONALLY with a blog!  It works wonderfully!  Just a thought.

And you are NOT going to keel over!!!  You are beating this thing!!!

I totally agree with Deborah.  You can send private messages through FB but some people don't think about using that feature.  Have a grand day!!!!
