    Here is a place near there where I used to go when I was a kid..you could only get there by canoe then, but now there is a road nearby..

    Spar..that is near Cooperstown, NY...it is at Shadow Brook...we used to wade in it..

    Lisa, I have to visit that place,  just have to.

    Feeling a little low because of so many breast friends that are having problems.  Praying for all of them.

    Would love to see some pictures.  Just talked to my son in Maryland and he said they were getting 8 inches and was snowing like crazy.

    Goodmorning mountain, love your silence and serenity.  There is such peace hiking alone or sitting and listening to the forest or mountains music.

    Well, its 4:15 in the afternoon and I have not been productive.  Don't know why I am feeling so down and alone today unless it's because my friends funeral is tomorrow and I don't know if she is a christian or not because we had not spoke in several years.  The last time was at a grandchilds softball game.  Just feeling so bad for her kids and grandkids and husband.  She will be so missed.  Tomorrow mountain when I get home will take a hike and find some treasures.

    Hello mountain, am feeling better and more energetic today since I am getting things done and not lollygagging.  Is that really a word?  I think I will do a small collage (i really don't know if that is how you spell that word or not but ya know what I mean) of landscapes today.

    the one that destroyed our home and everything we had was the May 3rd 1999 tornado and it was over a mile wide and destroyed whole towns, blocks, schools so much destruction and so many people lost their lives.  I pray this tornados do not come to the ground but stay up in space and cause no damage.

    I want every single person to know that reads the mountain thread that you are welcome to contribute anytime you want to.  I would love it no matter who you are.  It is for everyone to enjoy. Any wildlife, flowers, country sides, mountains, lakes. Anything of beauty.  Any poetry or songs.  Just anything you want to contribute.

    Coonie and Lisa, love the flowers.  thank you for asking,  the weather missed us.  The sky was dark and really windy but no tornados.  thank you Lord.  A cold front came in tonight so we have wood in ready to light the fireplace if needed.  It will probably be the last cold front before warm spring weather.  Can't wait to see all the flowers bloomed out and the garden growing with veges.
