Another sister needs our prayers
I have copied and am posting a post from a sister from the Feb '07 thread and I know we have some mighty prayer warriors here and am asking for your prayers.
Hello, all.
It is with a very sad heart that I bring you some news from Twink/Twilah's husband, Phil. Twilah has entered hospice in her home, and is surrounded by her immediate family. Her extended family is arrving from California and Canada as we speak.
She is comfortable and seems to be aware of her surroundings and her family. Phil feels the hospice nurses are providing wonderful care.
Please light a candle, say a prayer, or whatever you feel would connect you to her...
ANY UPDATES WILL BE POSTED ON HER CHEMO BOARD NAMED "Anybody starting chemo in February?"

Hi Nancy,
I am Twi;ah's sister Marilee. Her family did arrive. My dad drove in from Dallas and my sister flew in from Vancouver - Phillip and his sister barred them both from entering the house and actually called the Dallas police to have them removed. The officers were very sympathetic and tried everything to get Phil to let them see Twilah, but he refused. She died the next day. I don't get it???I am so angry that Phil would do this, and I hope Twilah was not concious at the time.

Hi Marilee,
I am sorry to hear this. Sometimes we never know the reason for actions and grief can make us do things that we would not normally do. Twilah was an angel here on earth and helped so many...I am sure she is in heaven now watching over us all.
My deepest sympathies to you in the loss of your beautiful sister,
Nancy

Marilee; I too am so sorry for the pain that I know you are still going through. It is so sad that families sometimes get torn apart at times when we need to pull together the most. I wish I knew what to say to help ease the hurt...but there are just no words that would suffice.
Please know that Twilah touched many of us here and will be deeply missed by those of us that were fortunate enough to get to meet her.
My heartfelt sympathies are with your family for the loss of such a beautiful soul.

Marilee, I did not know Twilah as I'm pretty new to these boards but I feel the love through others that she must have shown. My prayers are with your entire family that wounds will be healed so that Twilah can rest peacefully. Even though I did not know her I write this with tears for your loss.
Phyllis
