I believe in miracles and am in need of one
I am 35 years old and was dx with bc Jan 08 with all the prayers and the faith and grace of the Lord I am now healed. Unfortunately my mom was told she has stomach cancer all over the top of the stomach. She has been my rock and my strength through all my journey and i'm not sure that i can be that strong for her as she has been for me. I do believe in miracles and need help from everyone please. Please pray for my mom, she needs a miracle. The news isn't good at all. I heard clearly what the doc said but I believe that it's not what the docs say, it's what God wants do. He is the one that's in charge. Please help us. In very much need of prayer, prayer is the most powerful.
Thank you and God Bless
Karen

We are praying for you and your mom. Miracles are possible.
-
Karen - we ALL know of cases where the docs are wrong. Prayers for you and her that this is one of those times.

I am so sorry about your Mom and, of course, there are miracles. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Mom. Don't worry about your strength - the Lord will give you strength and will always be there to support you.
Love and prayers.

Karen ~ A woman in my art therapy class told me that she had been dx'd with Stage 4 colon cancer. A doctor @ MDAnderson gave her 6 mos. to live and told her to get her affairs in order. She said she threw a terrible fit, yelling at the doctor that he couldn't tell her that, and that only God knew how much time she had left. That was 35 years ago. Today, she's a strong & feisty 80-year old with an art business and an internet website! Obviously, God did not agree with her doctor's prognosis and had other plans for her life. I hope that your Mom shares your faith.
Praying for you both, Karen ~ Deanna

Praying for your mom and for you - I am very close to my mom and she is also my rock during my ordeal, so I know how you must be suffering and worrying - and I believe in miracles, too!!!! And as was said earlier, doctors can be wrong . . .and it is all in God's hands. You will find the strength - we are all with you during this time -

Thank you all for all your prayers. Like i also posted in my thread 2009 herceptin group all my family and friends had a prayer gathering for my mom and the father from my church went to our home and also prayed for my mom it was amazing how powerful the word of the Lord is. I just hope that the docs are wrong and there is something they can do for my mom. Has anyone heard of BLUE SCORPION? I heard that it has done miracles with cancer patients that the doc has said there isn't anything they can do for them anymore. I just pray that the Lord hears our prayers. Thank you so much

Karen ~ Has your Mom had a second opinion? All doctors don't view all situations exactly the same, and some doctors may have access to trial meds, etc., that others do not. If you haven't already, can you get your Mom to the University of Arizona Medical Center there? I know they're an NCI designated facility, which means they're rated as one of a handful of the best medical facilities for cancer in the US.
Thinking of you ~ Deanna

I am praying for your mom...how is she doing?

Candie~ Thanks for your prayers. My mom is in shock still and is healing from her surgery, I can't believe how big that darn tumor was. They removed 80% of her stomach tomorrow we go get her stitches out so she is so nervous. She will need chemo and rads she told me that she doesn't think she will be able to handle the chemo and I told her that she will. My mom is 58 and she is very strong It's just hard to believe that me and my mom are going through the same journey.
How are you doing? Hope everything is well and what a beautiful picture. Is that a resort??? I wanna go there. Have a nice day tomorrow and keep in touch I thought I would never hear from anyone on this thread. thanks

Only 58 - still very young and strong to withstand - especially with God on her side! How fortunate she is that she has you for support as you had her strength.
Please let her know that many are praying for her recovery.

Thank you all for your support. I guess i really need a miracle! 11 out of 12 nodes are infected and i'm really worried.

Karen, I just saw this post and did you find out what the blue scorpian is? I am lifting your mom up in prayer and also having our life group pray for her for a miracle. They do happen with Gods will. Can I have her whole name for our prayer group? We also have Hannah sweet pea on our prayer list. Let us know how your mom is. God bless.

Spar2~ Glad you saw my post. My mom is having a hard time but overall she is doing good. Her surgery went well and now we await her first chemo the day after Mother's Day May 11th. She is in this mood of frustration and is inpatient with everything. She is very scared just as all of us were and are in the beginning. I just pray for her all the time that God gives her inner peace and lots of calm feelings. I have met some people that are using this blue scorpion and they are cancer free after being told that they only had not long to live. Also alot of children in Nogales are being treated and they are doing good. I wanted my mom to start only if the surgeon wasn't able to do anything for her. Thank God he was able to take out the tumor and was able to leave 20% of her stomach in. Her lymph nodes were positive, 11/12. My Mom's name is Martha Dennis, She is a wonderful person and has the biggest heart a person could ever have. I also pray for Sweet pea.
Lots of Love, Karen

Just caught this thread, and am paying forward the countless prayers I received as I went through a dx. of colon cancer not even 4 years after breast cancer.
I am praying that she finds peace and comfort in Him.
