Iodoral
For those of you taking Iodoral, can you share with me where you are buying it from? Trying to find the best price!
Thanks!

I don't know about the best price, but I got mine from the breastcancerchoices.org site.
-
More spam for the quack web site.
Antiperspirant doesn't cause breast cancer.
Mouthwash doesn't cause oral cancer.
And that web site has so much misinformation that nothing there is reliable.
-
I didn't ask about quak sites...I asked where people were getting their Iodoral. If you don't use it, why are you posting here?
-
Because actually spam is against the Terms of Service for this web site. So I am tracking how many times that quack web site gets recommended. When the quantity hits critical mass, I'll begin reporting it.
-
It's true that spamming is against the "community rules", but spam is defined as the following:
spam, spammed, spam·ming, spams.
- To send unsolicited e-mail to.
- To send (a message) indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups.
whereas the rules say this:
You agree not to advertise or promote any goods or services in the Discussion Boards or Chat Rooms. "Junk mail", "spamming," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes" and similar activities are strictly prohibited.
I think that when althea says she gets iodoral from a particular website, she is neither recommending a good or service, nor spamming anyone.
-
Yes, I saw that.
When you click "Report a Post" the following text appears:
Please report any violations of our Rules of Conduct, including:
* spam
The web site that keeps getting mentioned over and over in this part of the forum is chock full of ads for alternative products. So this is clearly a solicitation to buy products.
* solicitations to buy products
* threatening, abusive, or hateful comments
It is very likely that someone who keeps mentioning the web site is directly affiliated with that web site. -
I'm confused.

"Get Natural Cancer Treatments Now"
This alternative cancer treatment information could save your life! Discover how over 2,000 have successfully used alternative cancer treatments and discover over 350 gentle non-toxic cancer treatments than no one else will ever tell you about!Under Ads by Google
"Alternative Cancer Clinic"
"Breast Cancer Prevention" by Jack's Country Store
All appear on the web site as of about 5 minutes ago.
-
LJ, I'm not soliciting anything or anyone. Lisa asked where people are getting iodoral. I told her where I got mine. That isn't spam. That's answering a question. Your presence here in my view is as welcome as barbequed meat at a vegetarian potluck. We get it that you don't approve, believe, or support alternative therapies. I for one would appreciate it if you'd eat your meat somewhere else. Stretching the meaning of spam reflects poorly on you, not anyone else.
-
These ads are NOT on the Breast Cancer Choices website. I just checked.
You must be confusing breastcancerchoices.org with some other site.
-
Ladies, my apologies. It was indeed a different web site that was linked to in this forum.
I made an error, and I do apologize.
-
Yes, and since I asked a question...I would expect an answer, that isn't spam.
This pettiness is really getting to me! So much for being able to discuss things that are important to me in this forum. I don't think I will refer anybody to this site any more...
-
I have referred many people to this site, in spite of the unsupported claims made by people on the alternative section.
So gracious of you to accept my apology with such class.
-
Yes, you would be the expert on class. Thanks for the chuckle today.
-
Incidentally, regarding the "unsupported claims"...nobody here is holding a gun to your head requiring you to try any of the alternatives that are being discussed. They are simply being discussed. There is this neat little button on your key board that says "delete"...and if you aren't interested, that is all you have to do...delete the information. For those of us who are interested, we can read it and then do our own research and take it to our doctors and talk to them.
There is a saying out there...don't believe anything you read and only half of what you hear.
As I have always said....do your OWN research.
My sister-in-law just lost her two year battle with ovarian cancer on Tuesday night...she followed all the conventional therapies...I guess the statistics just weren't in her favor.
-
Wait. You mean I can delete all this unsupported information with *my* keyboard?
Hmmm. Doesn't seem to be working. It's all still there. Iodine, bioidenticals, flax seed and cottage cheese ... all still there.
-
ROFL........actually I think you hit delete a long time ago! I'm not wasting my time with you anymore....I have things that are actually important to tend to!
-
We deleted a number of posts, and hope that this allows for a return to the issue. We do not consider these recommendations spam, as it was a direct response to a question.
Thanks for helping to restore harmony.
