Very nice, there are such wonderful beautiful places in this world of ours. Thank you for sharing.

Coonie...if you can imagine...the beach is behind me when I took the picture...I was aiming east and the beaches in CA are on the west...my son surfs in the morning and snowboards in the afternoon some times...

This looks like a lovely road for a nice Sunday afternoon drive thru the Mountains
-
It certainly does, think I will drive down it until I find a nice homecooking cafe and stop for a meal and have a cup of coffee and ask if there are some climbing mountains around.

Today is a new day full of joy and surprises. My stepson is visiting and he is quite the young man now. I received my knitting needles I won on e-bay. I also want to talk about God. When I really think about it I cry and get goose bumps but can you imagine it being YOUR son on the cross that died for our sins. The pain Jesus went through and he was scared but he did it for us. We can't even imagine what wonderous things we will see and do in eternity when it is our time to join him. The bible says absent from the body present with the Lord so we will all get a chance to meet him. Be good to one another, show love and caring to one another. God does not want us to ignore anyone and I have been guilty of that and I apologize and ask for forgiveness. Even if you are not as close to one person as to another they all deserve our respect and we are all sisters here going through our journey with breastcancer that when you get right down to it, it never ends. We are always looking for the next shoe to drop, next friend to go, looking over our shoulders. Hopeing that pain is just arthritis or something simple. I pray for every single person on bc.org. and hope to get prayers and kindness in return. I have made so many friends here that will always be in my life and on my mind. So many that I love with all my heart. Share your love and the joy and life that God gave each of us. Hugs and Love. Sherry

Beautiful Spar. I can't wait for springtime....especially the bright green leaves, flowers, grass,
butterflies, birds.....I love Spring..
-
Not the mountains, but the hills of the Cotswolds...
-
Oh Lisa......that grass is so green and lush! You can tell I'm craving Spring colors and textures.
-
Coonie...believe it or not...wintertime is the only green season we have in San Diego
-
Those are such beautiful pictures. It won't be long until we have that greeness again.
Coonie, I have a thing about old barns, when we are traveling I like to take pictures of them, it is such a long ago era when barns were so important. I remember going to barn dances in my younger days. My grandpa and other relatives would play the banjo, guitar, and harmonica and we all would dance, laugh and talk the night away. Such good times. Things like that don't happen much anymore.
-
Oh Spar....I love barns too! This one looks a little fancy though. I think the older---the better.
Have you ever seen the play "Shepherd of the Hills" in Branson Missouri? Your childhood memories reminds me of a part in that drama. The community gets together for a dance at the barn. It's really neat!
-
That would be a good dance barn. Got to do some hiking and walk off that supper I ate.
Its dark though so it will have to be a short careful walk.
How beautiful is this world our God made

Goodmorning mountain, hello sunshine. Thank you Lord for all your beauty and mercy and grace that you give us each day. Please help and heal all my breast cancer sisters in whatever they need be it physical or emotional, give us all strength, courage, and wisdom to face all things, in your name. Amen.
Have a wonderful day on the mountain, hike until your hearts content, take in all the beauty, animals, colors, and flowers
There are so many things to discover in the mountains
