How many Herceptin = 1 year

I also think it is 17 every3. My nurse said you don't go past a yr from your first tx

I think it is 18 including the loading dose.

I had 52 weeks of Herceptin. 12 of which were given along with Taxol. The first time was a double dose....with the Taxol. Seemed really strange not to be going to the Infusion rm on Wednesday mornings at 8:30. I felt like I was being proactive- defensive when taking those weekly infusions. As the weeks past, I was feeling better and better. I was not so tired- my hair was growing...I was seeing the end of the tunnel.

52 weeks, if given with 12 Taxol, that leaves 40 weeks, if given every 3 weeks, they do 13 Herceptin alone.

Just finished up #13 on 1/30/09.

How many Herceptin = 1 year
