Three years
I just want to say that I was diagnosed three years ago yesterday. A lot has happened since then and I'm in kind of a mixed place. I need to remind myself of what I went through three years ago and why. I need to remember to treat myself with the great respect that I treated myself with then.
That's all. I just needed to put that into words and send it out into the world.

First of all, congratulations on a 3 yr mark. I think that mixed place is normal, Glad you could put it out in words for us to hear.

Congrats on your third anniversary of becomming a survivor!

Three years is a very important mark. We are very much changed by this experience. I need to remember, too, where I have been and why I am where I am, now. With great respect for you and every bc sister, G.

Hey Jorf-
Good to see you. I also just passed my 3 years. I remember going through chemo the same time you were. I understand the mixed place feelings. I have them too sometimes. Congratulations on 3 years.!!

Congratulations on 3 years!!!! I've wondered.......do we count our years from the date of diagnoses, or the date treatment was complete? Sounds like a silly question, I know, but I'd like to be able to celebrate each year too! Surviving is something to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to you all!!!!!!!!!!! {{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}

Congrats, Jorf. I'm right there, too.

Thanks for the support. Bugs and caaclark particularly because I remember you from the time. So strange, this passage of time.

Jorf...CONGRATULATIONS on achieving the three year mark! I remember when you first came on board and how much I appreciated your perspective. This journey does make us wiser and sometimes that is, indeed, a mixed blessing. So, regardless of your having mixed emotions on this important anniversary, please take some time to truly celebrate. NED is a very sweet and cherished companion. May you be with "him" for many, many years to come!

(We are trying to do another Get Together, are you in?)
-
NbN - thanks and let me know if you get the get-together happening.
Thanks Marin - I wish I had the same perspective I had then - you know, all that adrenaline and focus and energy.
BTW, I just had my TSH checked and it's rising. Is there a thing about chemo and hypothyroid???
