Thanks so much for this article! It seems that the evidence is mounting. Though it has taken me some time to commit to drinking green tea on a regular basis (it never seems to taste strong enough for me), I'm finally having 1-2 cups a day. As far as I'm concerned, I'll take ANY help I can get in trying to avoid a recurrence!

I agree, Marin, that the green tea is sort of wimpy. I use one tea bag of green tea and one bag of organic peppermint tea together. GIves it a lot more flavor! I get in at least one cup a day, and I wonder how they can call 12% a modest #?

    Go to .....brassicatea.com

This tea has "SGS" in it. Antioxidents from brocolli sprouts, which are good in fighting BC. Scientists from John Hopkins Medical School came up with this tea.

Enjoy...I have at least 2 cups a day.

**shyly raising hand** Coming from a home with an Aussie mum, I grew up on teas of all kinds.  I drank it hot, warm, iced...however. Alas, it was not to be, I still got breast cancer.

For those of you who don't like green teas...try the one with pomegranit and goji berry juice in it. I still drink tea, and that one is my particular favorite! Tongue out

I've had to try several brands of Green tea unitl I could find one with a decent taste.  Double Green Matcha Tea by 'The Republic of Tea' certified organic - - really good for green tea. Expensive 50 bags $9.

artsee - I checked the brassiatea.com website and they have one with orange!  I will definitely try it - - thanks for the link.  I previously was drinking Lipton Green Tea Mandarin flavor but I doubt it was organic.

I drink 4 cups of green tea (leaves, not bag, much better) a day.  The only problem is that I think it is the cause of my anemia now (not severa anemia, but still). Seems that tea can slow iron absorption.

By the way:  add a bit of lemon juice in your green tea, it multiplies by 5 the absorption of the cancer-fighting molecules it contains...
