severe breast pain in left breast

My partner at 35 years old exhibited the EXACT same symptoms you are describing. DONT WAIT. DEMAND A MAMMOGRAM. If the doctor had listened to my partner instead of telling her it was 'acid reflux' and "everyone woman experiences breast pain", we would not be where we are now. After he refused to order a mammogram or test her for the BRC 125 gene, 6 months later we found out she had high stage two breast cancer, two types. We have been fighting for her life every since. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. DEMAND ANSWERS.

Hi,
I was having severe pain too and having recently endured an abbi biopsy and surgical removal of a benign tumor, I was worried. Especially since the surgeon told me there were precancerous cells present. My mother had recovered from breast cancer and is now receiving chemotherapy for lung cancer.
My doctor told me to cut out caffeine and chocolate and I found that wheat germ also helps the pain of fibrocystic breast disease, a benign condition that includes pain. (my self-diagnosis).
Could anyone tell me if they have had success fighting cancer with nutrition (beans, soy, etc.) using or not using chemotherapy. I have read alot of differing stuff online but would like to verify from a real person what has or has not worked for them. So far I'm juicing with spinach, broccolli, carrots and grapes and making smoothies with strawberries and blueberries and tea with licorice root and spirilina. I'm also using turmeric, and eating tempeh with lots of raw garlic.
Thanks for your help

kerrydee,
There are two forums on this discussion board that you might want to check out. One is called Alternative, Complementary and Holistic Treatment and the other is called Healthy Recipes for Everyday Living.
I've had fibrocystic breasts since I was a teenager. I was told to cut out caffeine and chocolate too but it never made any difference so I went back to consuming those things (why deny myself it if doesn't help?). I do know however that diet can make a big difference for some women with fibrocystic breasts. Having a precancerous condition is very something different, however, and while a particular diet may be able to reduce your overall breast cancer risk, I don't know how much diet can affect whether or not precancerous cells will ever become cancerous. I don't think there's a lot of reliable information about this. As for using diet instead of chemotheraphy for someone who already has cancer, while there are the rare cases where people have claimed this to be successful, as far as I know, cancer has never been proved to be cured by diet along. On the other hand, certainly there are many people who have cancer who use diet in addition to traditional treatments.
