Two years ago today, I found a lump on my breast.  It started this year and a half long rollercoaster ride.

It's hard to believe all that has happened since 2/8/2007.

I am so glad that I met all of you wonderful women!!

Hugs

Harley

Congrats Harley!  It's been 2 years for me also, joining this club in April '07.  Now that everything's 'over' & I've been released to see my onc every 3 months, I find myself having a hard time re-entering 'normal'.  I'm so grateful to be alive, but boobless & estrogen-less thanks to Femara.  Most days I'm fine, but some days I feel like the Her2+ is coming to get me.  My onc said I would have about 5 yrs. before recurrence.  Wish I could get that fact out of my brain, along with the sad puppy-dog look in his eyes while he delivered the news.  Wondered how you're faring with returning to 'life'?

I was February 12th, 2007 Harley. Well, that was the day I was told it was cancer. I guess I found my lump a couple weeks before. I forget that exact date. Imagine that....

Another one at 2 years.  Dx Feb 2007.  As for getting back to 'normal', I don't think that will ever happen for me.  This will always be hanging over my head and se's from tx won't let me forget.  However, my 'new life' is wonderful.  I love being back to work and 'pretending' that I am just like everyone else.

I know exactly how you feel--I can't get the word "recurrence" out of my brain sometimes. It's been 2 years (come April) and even though I'm "cancer-free" the worry seems to get to me sometimes.

Congratulations harley!  I saw on a different thread that you're taking a cruise soon.  Have a great time!  A change of scenery to a sunny place will do you a world of good.

Yet another one at two years. My diagnosis date was 2/13/07. Not the valentine I was looking to give my family. I've been cancer-free since Sept. 07 and finished reconstruction in Sept 08. I'm really looking forward to 2009 being surgery-free! Congratulations to you.
