Many things can "strengthen" the immune system, but that doesn't mean it will prevent you from getting cancer again, unfortunately. Many of us considered ourselves to have strong immune systems when we found out we had cancer in the first place.

Eat a healthy diet, get plenty of exercise, find balance in your life, and try not to live in fear--that's my advice. Good luck, Tyra.

    Lose extra weight

Moderate to vigorous exercise at least 45 minutes per day

    Avoid non-organic dairy products

    Limit or eliminate alcohol intake

Limit or eliminate charred meat (grilled)

Eat lots of fruits and veggies

No supplement has ever been put into a pill that will prevent breast cancer recurrence. The best source of good chemicals is in your food.

Honey does have some beneficial (antibacterial) properties but it also CONTAINS bacteria, so it should be strictly avoided by anyone on chemo.

Cinnamon tastes good but has never been proven to accomplish anything in real people, other than make their taste buds and noses happy.

Personally......I think the only thing honey or cinammon is good for is to put on your oatmeal. Laughing

See other thread with posting that cinnamon is good for diabetics and possibly for high cholesterol. There are many positive us for cinnamon. It's only toxic in hugh amounts. If you want to take a higher amount you should use it in a liquid form.
