Lunch-time fly-by........... getting my bike outta the garage.
Packing each of you in my little travel-bag-basket. Who's got the snacks?
Coonie: sending you a gentle hug & a great piece of chocolate:
-
Now there's enough for you to share with everyone:
-
Here I thought it was the dryer, doing all of that damage: shrinking clothes. LOL.
It's the chocolate??? There should be a warning on those packages.........
-
And some of you know my fondness/weakness for cookies!
-
OK. These are for the health conscious in our midst.
All that healthy strawberry-taste, that's so good for us!
-
Dear Spar. I'm wading through the knee deep waters of the Beach to say and wave hello.
Thank you for reaching out and asking me to come by.
It means a lot especially today. The third year since I found the lump.
As with each of us my world was put on super fast tail spin cycle.
My dh was so ill and unbeknown to me would pass on three weeks after my bilateral mastectomy.
When I became friends with a dear friend who created this loving thread of support and fun and comfort I jumped right into the waving waves and what a ride it was. So happy.
So I thank her with all my heart for allowing me to play awhile and feel the freedom I needed to sing my life song and to forget for awhile each day that I lost my husband, my soul mate and came to know the poison C cells that have ravaged all of us at some point on this journey.
Some of us have done it alone with children to raise and comfort. I think it makes us stronger.
Having this thread especially when our dear friend who created this thread was here with us was most wonderfully tranquil and happy times.
Thank you A. I feel all the better for knowing you.
Thank you Spar for keeping the waves waving even during your own difficult times.
The Beach attracts wonderful new faces as all beaches do.
I wish you could all come on over to my beach hut and enjoy some of California's best Oysters ever. My treat.
Remember to shine your shells all and always wave back to the waves.
Clear aqua pearliest waves to each.
Sahalie

Hello to all of my beach buddies!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the thoughts, prayers, CHOCOLATE, well wishes
and just EVERYTHING!
Got my port removed this morning. Got there at 7:15, and was home by 10:00. No problems
whatsoever! I feel great too! I DID think of all of you while I was there.
I know some of you are still fighting the nasty beast, and I pray that you have strength and
courage to get through! For those of us who are finished with treatment, I pray we will have
the strength and courage to get through also. This journey has taught me one thing, and that is
to live for TODAY, because we never know what tomorrow holds!
Hope everyone is having a great day, and thanks again for the support!!!
Hugs to EVERYONE!!!

Had lunch with 3 friends today, first time I have done that in over a year, it was really fun.
