Hello Beach Friends
I have not been going to my writing circle due to illness and doc appts. I will be able to go this week.... I hope.
I will know something on Wednesday. I am meeting with Dr. re radiation of ovaries. Surely I can get some answers regarding the progression. If not, I will have to email my nurse. I havent heard from my therapist (she is also a GP). She could clear some of my questions up.
Tomorrow I have a volunteer coming in... four hours a week. She is going to help me scapbook my writing and help me with quilting projects etc. Seems we are well matched for crafts. So tonight.... I have to clean my apartment....!!!!!

Now these are true "beach babes"
Spar, thanks! This time tomorrow I will be port-less

I took this picture yesterday @ the Gulf.
I'd never seen these sort of shore birds before. They were truly hilarious.
Every time I moved in a few inches closer the whole 'herd' skittered in unison away from me. We laughed and laughed and laughed.

thanks Julz of the beach, love the sea glass, made me smile. Yes, Chico is doing much better.
Coonie, the port removal was one of the easiest operations I had so hope it goes that smoothly for you. It was so nice to have it out. We are with you tomorrow. We need a bag to load up with snacks and drinks and Julz to sing songs to us to pass the time. We will all be in that bag waiting for news and we will not be quite unless you tell us to calm down. Sometimes sand gets out on the floor but hospitals have housekeeping. huh?
-
Oh Faith, just checked your blog, love the bedroom. Is that a red chair, if so is it as comfy as it looks and where can I get one????
Dream, prayers are with you.
I am missing Jaz. Come play with me tomorrow afternoon though if you can.

Hi Beach Babies, I am wishing you all the very best at this beach, The sunsets of love and the sunrise of hope. May you find joy in each time you share alittle kindness.
With each wave you feel a touch from above, and each castle remind you of your home on high. So as you walk this beach together remember, You are never alone
Well I think I better get ready to go to the Cancer center in the morning, God loves you and so do I.Hugs Debbie

Morning. Is everyone's internet as sluggish as mine this morning?
Hugs & prayers to all beach-combers in need today, especially our Coonie as you leap another hurdle in this journey. Thinking of you all day & hoping everything is completely uneventful -- except for the celebration!!
Footie, what a lovely sentiment.
Cheryl/Moose, I sure hope that you can splash regularly with us. There are a couple of new folks who are now 'regulars' and will roll out the welcome mat.
Julz, your posts were incredible. Thanks for adding such color.
Spar, YES!! That is a real chair & unbelievably comfortable!! We got it down here/FL special for that little corner. I like it so much I may be moving it to the living room -- time will tell. Oh, the store where we got it is called: Kanes Furniture. (Never heard of that before.)
Sharon. Where are you?
Coonie, at work? Hope that your numbers are climbing every hour on the hour.
Jazzzie one. It feels so good to get a project completed. I know the urge to have several going.
Mary Lou. Wondering how you're managing at your house? Know that I'm wishing you all sorts of support & for things to turn around -- just as soon as possible.
Oh dear, now I've gone and made a list.... who am I forgetting??
Dream!!! Read your incredible post over at the bitch thread and it moved my very heart & soul. I think that you should cut/paste it here -- it's so insightful.
Celia. Thinking of you during this week. Know that I'm sending you supportive hugs in the grieving.
Big FL hugs to all that I've inadvertantly missed.
Lisa. I think you are so fortunate to see the natural world 'regularly' ...... in all it's glory. Was thinking of you as the herd of birdies and I cavorted -- like a national geographic special.
-
Make your mark on this world of ours.
-
No matter where you are today, fill your sights with love:
-
Off to catch some sunshine for my heart.
Thinking of each of you as I get out there.
(Will promise to use sunscreen. LOL.)
-
Just checking in.
-
Goodmorning beach friends. Wishing you all a healing, joyful, blessed day.
