Remember some time ago we were upset that we couldn't delete any of our old PMs?

Go to your PM box.

I just did. I went all the way back to the begining. It was like being transported to another dimension.

In there I found Lisa40 laughing about her children, Cy telling me about her job, Fancy and I talking horses, Ferne and I planning our next trip, and Deb just cracking me up over nothing. It was a nice "visit" with our sisters who have gone, but who somehow live on in letters and notes and smiley faces.

I know on a day like today, I needed to "see" my friends. And, once again, they were there for me.

Hugs to everyone,

g

Great point, NS. I also recently re-visited old PMs and began recalling so many of our sisters, some of whom have left us in the intervening years. Many of them made me smile as I warmly remembered them.

I have a question for you, NS....what ever happened to Fancy? I recall that her husband passed away and don't remember seeing her posts after that. She was a great resource regarding nutrition especially and I always took her points seriously.

Marin,  I was looking at the Angels list yesterday and I saw Fancy's name on it.  After the shock of Deb and Annie, I just couldn't believe it.  I hadn't heard.  I still remember so well how sad it was when Fancy's husband passed away, so soon after he was diagnosed.  Having lost my SO, I could identify a bit with what she was going through and I was amazed at her attitude and spirit.  I checked back to Fancy's old posts - her last post was in May when she mentioned that she was diagnosed with mets.  She passed away on Dec. 21st.  I'm just reeling and I feel like I'm on the verge of tears constantly.  We are losing too many wonderful women.

Gina, you're right.  Sometimes I wish I could delete some of the old messages, but maybe there's a reason why they can't be deleted and it's a good thing.
