If one can get the hang of it on the knitting/crocheting, I was gonna try knitting and can't find buy one of my needles I bought. I will get it done though. Tonight is Life group and also I take the test to work for the census so it will be a busy evening but will miss feeding the people that come for the free soup and sandwiches on Wednesdays. I didn't go on the Wed the weather was so bad thinking no people would come out in this for soup and sandwich but luckily there were people who thought different and they ran out of food so many people came.
Checkum, hope those blood counts are back up soon, I got good news and bad news (not really bad) at the dr. yesterday. I have been bleeding from the kidneys since 2005 and it has nearly stopped, healed on its own. Was told it was damage from Chemo but it is nearly healed. Also my diabetic meds were working too well so we are decreasing them but my cholesterol is still up some even on meds and he wanted to put me on more meds but talked him into giving me 3 more months to eat better and exercise. I had lost 11 pounds which as overweight as I am the only way I can tell is my pants are a little looser around the waist. Wish I could lose 80 more soon. I would love to be able to wear a swimsuit when we go to Kent Island in June and not be so embarrassed. Everyone in my family from mother, daughter, son, to husband has good buff bodies except me and I am a blob. Enough complaining, I am gonna post some then go for a real walk in the woods behind our house.
there I go now walking on the beach and enjoying every bit of warm and sand.
Julz, I loved the sea glass you found for me yesterday. sea glass is my thing as you well know.
Hope everyone has a beach blessed day.

I'm going to start knitting as soon as I get some yarn. I think it will be so neat to have my squares incorperated into an afghan.

Spar,
I had a similar conversation (about cholesterol) with my pcp today. He had to give me the green light for surgery. He did agree that my cholesterol is the least of my problems, so he gave me a reprieve until I bounce back from surgery... YEAH!
-
Congrats Mary Lou!!!
-
Congratulations Mary-Lou.....there's nothing sweeter than a babbbeeeeee
-
Thanks sisters..... Girls are just a repeat of us. And yes there is more drama. My oldest granddaughter proves it. LOL

Wings, thank you so much for posting, you are so welcome. We miss you on the beach.
Mary-Lou, I am thrilled for you. Grandbabies are the best boys or girls, doesn't matter. I love to hold them, give them a bottle, breath deeply and smell them. They are so precious. Oh Happy Day.
-
Shall I reserve this portion of the beach for the
ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the beach thread?
-
We could add a few decorations too...
-
And maybe a pretty light show when it gets dark
-
Dear Beachie-Bunnies.
What a day. What an absolute, blessed, amazing day. At the risk of one of you sending a cabana boy to strangle me....... all I'm at liberty to say at this minute is: OH HAPPY DAY!!
Unfortunately 'the-cat-is-still-in-the-bag' but I returned from my gynormous school day of kindergarten fun, to open an email that has the potential to literally change my life -- in such a good way!!
Oh, how I wish I was able to say more. Not yet. I'm alternating between leaping about my house and crying tears of thanksgiving..... and then laughing my head off, then the tears well up again.
We will indeed have a serious, BIG party if we can pull this off.
Continue to think extreme thoughts. Hope for big dreams. Encourage your soul to stretch it's wings.
I've got to goooooooooooooo, cuz I'm gonna be on the phone for the rest of the evening.
Know that all is very well, here in the land of butterflies!
(Wasn't it just yesterday that I was whining?? What a difference a day can make.)
-
Just as I changed my avatar to a butterfly.... Happy days Faith!!!!!!
We will think big......

Whatever it is, (and I wish I knew) I'm so happy for you cause you're SO HAPPY!!
-
Mary-Lou, I just love your new avatar! So, how many grandbabies does this make for you?
At least this many?
-
Good evening Beach babes. I'm just dong a quick pop in. I fell asleep after work this afternoon and woke up with the beginnings a a migraine so I've taken my meds and off to bed. I will read and catch up tomorrow morning.
