It's hangin in my eyes!!!
-
I dare ya to get some toilet paper.....
-
Yikes, what the heck is THAT?
-
Well...apparently its a lesson in overcoming adversity. LOL!
-
I think I can "hold it" Hope.
-
First of all I want to say happy birthday to Wings and hope you had a great day filled with love and laughter.
Hi all, hope everyone has had a great day on the beach.
It seems our alwayshope has a birthday this month also, we need to wrangle the date out of her and throw a bash.
If it were me sitting on the pot with that spider, I would drip dry and pray he didn't jump me. LOL
-
No, no birthday. Sorry but I think it got messed up on that game thread with several posting over each other.
-
Happy Birthday Wings!!!!
-
Do I know Wings? I know I have chemobrain, but someone please refresh my memory?
-
LOLOL, well Happy Birthday to whoever's b'day it is.
-
Coonie, our "Wings" hasn't been walking the beach in a longtime...... probably you haven't met her. We old timers just LOVE her dearly. She was the very first person to ever respond to my very first question. She lives in MI and we've met up a couple of times. She loves light houses & they got a new Harley last summer. So there you have the Cliff Notes version.
Happy Birthday dearest.
oh, and as I remember she kinda has a thing for chocolate!! (who doesn't?)
-
Beachies.....Wings is our Keeper of the Lighthouse's....winggirl2.
She hasn't come for a Dip in our waters for a while but she is thought of fondly by many who have walked our shores....
So Here's a HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT!
I hope you have had a Wonderful Day Winger Girl.....
HAPPY BLESSED BIRTHDAY!!!!

OK. The hair is cut. The smile is repaired. I found my camera (which is what threatened to send me round the bend -- this afternoon.)
JazzyOne...... you're absolutely right, I finished the recording project prior to departing for FL and that was a MONSTER project -- nearly a year in duration. HUGE.
What I have before me now is a whole list of things to do that are like a gazillion paper cuts right after you squeeze the lemon. Things like expense reports (for all of last weeks travels) invoices for the 3 schools this week, proposals for spring conferences, yada yada yada, shipping materials hither and yon.
I can usually keep up with all of this nonsense, but lately it's just been more & more & more.... and I don't seem to be as motivated to follow each thread to it's conclusion.
Well enough complaining for the evening. I'm very fortunate to continue to have work & I just need to suck-it-up and attend to the less glamorous tidbits.
When I thought I'd lost my new camera, I realized that I've been burning the candle at both ends a bit too often and with too much regularity.
I'm gonna go sit in one of those beach chairs and count the twinkling stars in the heavens.
-
I think I'm just missing my hub-man. He keeps me grounded & is my biggest cheerleader.
We'll get back in the same state when I return to FL on Sunday.
-
So Faith you say 'Wings' Loves Chocolate.....
I found this for Her.....
I also found a special Cake.....
Enjoy.....

A friend on Facebook, just posted a video/YouTube, which is just what the doctor ordered:

Julz you found the perfect pictures, chocolate, and cake for wings, I sure do miss her
Faith, I bet you will feel like a new woman with the hair cut and especially after to tie up the paper ends and get home to hubby Sunday.
Mary-Lou, is it so good to see you and isn't that the truth about friends. Hope you are feeling much better, I will tell you tomorrow if the test for census is hard or just common sense. I take it at 5:30 but after go to life group so won't be home until around 10pm but will pm you anyway
Coonie and sharon, those are the cutest birthday pictures with the dogs. Wings I'm sure will appreciate them.
Hope all has a wonderful night.
thinking of you Angel
goodnight moon

Spar I know what you Mean....missing her & other shiney shells....
Mary Lou it's so good to see you.....Loving your Light House....
Faith......it's always good to have Dreams.... a Plan....a Purpose in our lives....even when our Roads take unexpected turns. You never know where you will find the Joy in your Travels if you don't explore the possibilities.....
-
Happy Birthday Wings!!
-
Just a quick update... I am working on afgan squares so I now have a new obsession LOL...
But, I went to the doc yesterday and my white cells are low-low-low (to be expected) but, he will recheck me on 2/16 to make sure I am back up and ready for surgery....
Also, I am going to be in the trial for the biphos..... (ZOMETA) which I am pretty psyched about. PLUS a trial for exercise... who doesn't need that. So pretty soon I will be laying naked on the beach with my new boobs/new toned body LOL
-
Have a great day on the sand Beachettes...
-
Good morning Beach babes.
Checkum -- I'm so excited that you are making squares! This will be fun to work together on this. And Spar is going to learn to crotchet and help if she can. I also sent Sharon a pm on how to get started so this should be fun! I'll keep you counts in my prayers. Did they give you anything to help boost them.
Good morning to Julz, Spar, Faith, Foots, Sahalie, Coonie, Sharon, Mary-Lou (I always here that song in my head when I see your name), Winggirl, and anyone else my fuzzy morning pre-coffee head didn't remember.
-
My doc doesn't believe in boosting them - he feels that the therapy works better when the normal process is not interfered with (?) - I should be back up by 2/16 - I HOPE!!!
Yes, I think the squares will be real fun - when you sent me the card that the afgan was from all my sisters at the beach, it just gave me an overwhelming feeling of support.. so now we can each be a part of this wonderful gesture!! PLUS, knitting/crocheting is wonderful therapy to clear the mind of all of ones worries...
Don't worry - be happy LOL
