Lisa, that is an amazing picture.
Mary-Lou, you got room for me to join you after my walk?
I love the mountains, there is such silence at times and at times the noise of the birds and wind blowing through the trees is so loud. There is always variety in what you find in the mountains.
On my walk I found this lake/river and want to bring my canoe next time and just float as far as I can and have someone pick me up at the end. what fun. My DH and I have done that on the Washita river, an ever changing river. It was fun but when we got to the end of our journey and stepped out of the boat where my dad was waiting to pick us up, we stepped off in quick sand and sunk passed our knees before we knew what hit us. We got out safely but we were covered in red mud. Would do it again in a heartbeat though. Thinking about it makes me really miss my dad and know I can't call him up anymore.
-
wow span..I want to be on that little boat at the bottom..how awesome
