LIFE'S A BEACH!

I too can use anything to help reduce stress. I'm one of those ones who seem to "borrow" worry. Likely not the same thing.........

I like it Jaz, I am a list person and mark it off as you go anyway. It makes me feel good to see a whole list marked off.
Best on the new thread girls, will check it out. Looks like lots of fun to be had on the beach today. How come goodnight, what time is it where you are? It is just 6pm here.
Pull up a chair and join me for some conversation, and left overs from the party today. Everything goes with donuts and cookies.

Wow WOWOW WoW!!
We did it. We hit page number 300, just before the first birthday of the thread. Fun!!
I'm back in snow-covered, freezing Ohio -- but have spent the evening with my babeez & WB so I'm as happy as a clam.
So sorry that I missed the tea party. Maybe we can have another one on the 5th, in commemoration.
Have all day tomorrow to regroup. Hugs to each and all.
-
Glad you made it safe and sound Faith. Give the beach babeez a hug and kiss from all their aunties.
-
Woo WHO Indeedy Faith is back in TOWN....
Beach Side of Course!!!!
Jazz Yesssss Squeezes from the Beachie Aunties!!!!

I'll be delighted to smother them with 300 hugs and 300 kisses EACH!!

Good morning Beachies. I'm up and out early this morning. I just want others who read this thread to know that nobody said anything against having cute animal pictures on the beach thread. I just don't want the impression out there that anyone complained about it and I kind of feel that that is the impression that others are being given. People are free to post what they want whether its cute animal pictures, beach pictures, songs, thoughts for the day, well wishes, inspirational poems and prayers, etc. If someone wants to start a new thread for a new theme, that's great but I just wanted to be sure that others know that this decision was not based on any kind of conflict as far as I am aware.
-
In case some haven't read, Moodyk's daughter is in the hospital and they are still running test. It looks quite serious so please keep them in your thoughts.
-
Hope, there are no bad feelings on The Beach whatsoever (like you, that I am aware of). Some of us (well 2 of us:)) just felt we were getting a bit over the top with our animal pictures. Please, no offense intended or taken. As far as I'm aware. I for one adore this thread and all who post here.
Beach hugs.
-
I for one know that I can get carried away pretty easily... but, it is good to know that I haven't --- YET
-
I know I get carried away.......I need and love the serenity and inspiration of The Beach.
-
As far as I know, there is "calm" on the beach. I love everyone here, but I got to thinking some may not enjoy the animal pics as much as a few of us do. Didn't want to put you all through the agony of having to see our cuties
I love the beach BIG TIME......It's so peaceful and calm. Please, hope nobody is offended by the other thread. I can remove it if necessary. Everyone is very special here and I couldn't make it without you all! Please pray for DD today. Stomach virus.....I'm going up to check on her and bring soup and sprite
More later though
-
MORNING!! I've been on baby-patrol so DD could pretend to get a little bit of sleep.
What a hoot. They're crawling now at the speed of sound. Pulling up on every conceivable surface. I saw T take an actual step between the coffee table and the couch -- since he wasn't thinking about it, it just happened easily.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my goooooooooooooodness.
I certainly haven't exceeded my quota for cute, but think it's so special of folks to be extra sensitive to the needs of the group. Bring on the cute, as far as I'm concerned, but a dedicated thread-of-cute is a clever idea. All cute. All the time!!
(BTW: I feel the same way about putting up too many pics of the babeez....... LOL, but didn't think a dedicated thread of my grandchildren was necessary. ROTFLMAO)
We are a peaceful tribe.
Prayers all around for all that is on the horizon for our friends.
-
P.S. Thanks for the welcome home!! Many hugs all around.
-
Good Morning Beachies......
This Pictures Makes me think of Night Time Stars Dancing on the Waters.....
Only during the Day cuz they didn't want to sleep yet!!!
Very Peaceful....

Whew! I'm back and boy those people in rush hour traffice are such crazy drivers.
I find that I hate having to deal with so much traffic the older I get.
Has anyone seen our SparbieDoll? I'm so excited. If things work out, Spar is going to be coming through my way in June and we are going to get to meet in person! How fun is that?
Where is Foots?
I've got another afghan ready to go. If anyone would like to send a card to include with it this time, please pm me.
Off to check out the games. I've become addicted.
-
Phew hope, you need some beach time after that drive........
Forget that white knuckle drive and relax.
-
Doesn't everyone love butterflies?
-
Is that butterfly real or silk? Its gorgeous!
-
Spar is here. have been cleaning, feeding animals, DH had to go all the way to Norman to try to get our car fixed and then they had to send for the part to OKC and then they didn't have it so had to send someone to Purcell to get a part. It has been a nightmare, no telling what time he will get home. Sure hope he gets the car fixed today though and it doesn't break the bank.
Coonie, I absolutely love you guys new thread, had so much fun last night looking at funny animals.
Faith, am so glad your home safe and got to smother the babeez with hug and kisses. When are you going to Florida or is DH coming to OH. Wow, how do you keep up with you.
Jaz, I have been digging through all my craft stuff and found my knitting needles and thread, not that I know how but thought I would find instructions on the internet and try to make some 5 x 9 squares. that smiley face driver cracked me up but ain't it the truth.
Foots, haven't heard from you in a while, stop by the beach for some lemonaid and hugs.
sharon, you do find some cool pictures and brighten up the beach
Checkum, be sure and have some shirts that button or zip up the front for after the mast. I couldn't wear t-shirts for a while because couldn't lift my arms. Thinking and praying for you. Also is the library does have trouble getting your book I will let you know.
Hope everyone has a great day on the beach.
walking the beach

Here are some butterflies on the beach

Spar -
I was thinking I need to look through my shirts and pull out all of the ones the button or zip. I read another good Idea of picking some up at the goodwill if I should need a few more.
I must admit today It hit me that time is closing in. I think I am getting nervous - and also getting somewhat overwhelmed at the things I should be doing to prepare. On the good side - I took the whole week off (week of surgery) that way I can prepare some meals, etc.
I know time is probably going to fly from this point forward... ugghhh.
