Hi All!
Casey, I wish I could meet you in Turks! I hear that's the world's best diving! I'm going to Cozumel over Mardi Gras (in three weeks!!!) to dive. NOT bringing the kids, either!
Life is fine down on the bayou. I had a robotic hysterectomy nine weeks ago. I've been working out for three weeks, and this week I am actually feeling fit and strong again. I'm also doing yoga twice a week and running in prep for Race for the Cure March 7. I finally went yesterday for a consult on hair extensions. My hair still sucks two years after chemo. I am switching to an AI from Tamoxifen next month, and I was hoping that my hair might thicken up then.
Cathy, sorry you had so much trouble with your AI. Didn't know they could cause hair loss. Dang it!
Linora, nice to catch up with you. Your dresses are beautiful. Good luck with the weight loss. I'm in bikini boot camp right now, in preparation for my dive trip next month. I put on some pounds over the holidays which coincided with my recovery from surgery. So, I'm determined to lose 5 pounds in three weeks and KEEP IT OFF!
Cristi- welcome!
Mary

Mary, so nice to see you...and to see you again Carol...your friends are right here.I've missed you gals. Well I had a pretty good day today in terms of shaping up. Stayed on a diet and worked all day cleaning out drawers and closets getting ready for spring. We're turning our house into a small farm and I need to be *very* organized. I am hoping tomorrow morning's weigh-in shows a little downward progress!!!After working furiously all day we went for a lovely twilight ski, and I am now enjoying some *low calorie* white wine in front of the fire. Thinking about my keeping room...maybe we'll add another fireplace.OK girls, it is time to check in with the stats...let's get serious!!!

This morning I weighed in & I two pounds lighter!!! Thanks to our little revival over here!!! I guess all it takes is skiing. Think I'll try that again!

I cannot give you my weight. I refuse to speak that number aloud!
Actually, it's just 145 but somehow I just feel so blucky!!!
I took tonight off, was going to workout tomorrow am but my PTs' car 'blew up' and so now I have to get my pitiful a** to work by 8:00 am tomorrow. I was planning on nursing my second cup of coffee then.
Mary,
I will let you know about T&Cs diving. RIght now I am trying to get my ex to send me my mask and snorkel. He is keeping it on his boat so he can use it when the prop has stuff stuck on it. I'm so excited to be diving again. I remember when I dive I hum through the regulator because I am so happy!
I hope the hair extensions are all that you hope for.
Linora,
The pics are gone!
Carol,
I sent a friend request
Quick movie recommendation to all..
Slumdog Millionaire.
It's brilliant.
I went snowboarding last weekend.
That was brilliant too!!!
