A short funny comment about my hair!
Ok...so my best friend who lives far away sent me an email today and said.....
"maybe your hair won't fall out"
My response....
"maybe your husband will come home tonight looking like Brad Pitt"
I know...pretty mean of me.....I can be that way!!! Feel free to use it!!!!! While you still have your hair!!!!

Haha. I love it! I got so tired of everyone telling me that. I could never think of anything witty to say back though. Unfortunately ,my hair is gone now. But trust me, I will find a way to use this somehow.

LOL! You know, sometimes I want to let those little zingers fly, too. Maybe it's cuz I get so sick of people telling me, "it'll grow back!" Really, seriously? I had *no* idea my hair would grow back.
Sorry for the sarcasm--it's a breast cancer thing

Kail, I hope I never again lose my hair but I'm going to remember that one. It's priceless. Like Auriga, I couldn't ever think of anything to say. Except finally when it did start to come out I was with a friend who kept reassuring me it might not. We were shopping, it was coming out and she said it yet again. I put my hand to my head and pulled out a clump........... I know that may have been a bit cruel but you don't know how many times she told me it might not. Of course it was never mentioned again.

I so needed that laugh today! Thanks for sharing.
So many times our hair does not grow back the same, different color, texture, straight or curly, etc. My hair is naturally blonde with curls. My luck I will end up with gray hair but what I am really hoping for is a really nice strawberry blonde color!
For the time being I am going to get a really LONG hair wig! I have always tried to grow my hair long but it never gets past my bra strap no matter how many years of trying to grow it out. At least now I can get some really long hair to wear for the time being. I am going to turn a negative into a positive!
I have heard the same comment by so many people - "maybe you hair won't fall out -it doesn't happen to everyone" Uh......let's see......they are putting me on some of the strongest chemo drugs and I have yet to hear someone who had AC chemo drugs retain their hair.

It's so good to be amongst people who really get it!

I disarm them with proactive comments like:
I hope it does... then when I go to the beach this summer, I won't have to buy a bathing suit, I can just get shorts and go topless.... cuz no boobs and no hair = no indecent exposure charge LOL
That shuts them up

Thanks for the morning laughs. I have hair once again - not very long, but most of my head is covered - and only wish it was summer and hot weather. It is too cold to go without a hat for a few more weeks.
At the time I lost my hair, I could not think of any witty come backs, but I love those mentioned here.
