When are you considered a year clean

Hi,

When are you considered a year clean?  Is it a year from when you had surgery, or a year from when you finished treatments?

  Hmmm - i never thought to ask. But i would guess it's a year after treatment ends. Because otherwise, as stretched out as treatment can be, some of us would hit the one year mark before we're done with chemo.

  I use the surgery date.  That's when I feel they took the known tumor out and the chemo was to get any rouge cells that had traveled elsewhere.
