Can't figure out the text thing (do you have to pay for it???) ... Nantucket Moments
-
Wow, nice collage Checkum. I figure cutting and pasting is about all I can manage.
Edit to say; I love that frothy wave to the right of your pic.
-
Morning. Checkum you are such a quick study!! Congrats on joining Lisa and I in collage-ville.
The text is a portion of the program...... you don't pay extra for it.
Once I 'build' a collage and save it, I go back to the very first portion of the program where it has the three tabs across the top. You want to be in the portion that says: Basic Fixes. (That's also where you can crop, straighten etc etc.) At the bottom of that page you can find the button that says: Text. Once you click into that area you can get the words to type whatever you want. You can change the font, it's size, it's color etc etc. Then you have to hit "apply" and the text is saved onto the collage. Hope that helps.
Sharon, I, too LOVE that big frothy wave explosion in Check's collage -- how awesome is that?
-
The tutorial continues.
Here's one we 'slapped' together in a heart-beat for DD2 (Noelle) and her BF as I was demonstrating to them how to make the collage -- and specifically how to add text.
-
good morning beachies! Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday....did someone mention lighthouses? I love them too!
Faith and Checkum---the pics are great!! I'll learn SOME day

another thing to keep my face in the computer....
I like that program, it is very cool. I am going to work on a slick collage for my book....
-
-
OK--------first I need to know what kind of camera I need.?? Faith?? What did you just get? I soooo want to learn how to do this. SoCalLisa posts some of the neatest pics too.
-
Isn't this adorable?
-
ADORABLE indeed.
Congrats Checkum. Your new and improved, text applied collage is indeed incredible. I second the motion on the daisy pic, too!! LOVE it!!
Coonie: I just got a Cannon camera. Long story, but my DH got me a brand new, had all the bells and whistles imaginable Nikkon for my birthday. I kept it for a week and was completely overwhelmed by it. SOOOOOOOOOO many menus and choices and a million decisions to make. Long story short..... we were able to return it to the camera store.
I knew that Lisa had once recommended her camera, and I knew that it was a Canon. Unfortunately I hadn't written down her model, when we went back to the camera store to beg to exchange. So I don't think that I have the same exact model as Lisa's. But I'm VERY VERY happy with what I have: Canon Powershot SX110 IS. I can see that it says the zoom is 10X and it has 9.0 mega pixels (whatever that means. LOL. I'm just reading the front of the camera. More LOL!!)
As you can see, if I can maneuver thru the Picasa program -- I think it's safe to say, anyone can. Checkum is more brilliant than most, but look what she's done overnight!!
Off to today's projects.................
