And besides, while the cat's away..........
-
Good idea
-
OK..........now we have both worlds.....puppies AND beach !
-
Gold star for you Coonie.
-
Sometimes being on the beach just tuckers you out.
-
Ya gotta watch out for those big waves......
-
Coonie: I just LOVED the picture of the "peaceable kingdom" of the baby animals: sweet!! So sorry to hear your LE is mystifying the locals -- I'm so glad to hear that you've found a specialist to lend some expertise.
We spent the entire day in and out of hardware stores, Target redux, grocery store, and my favorite was finding two contemporary bar stools, so we can sit at the counter for breakfast. They are literally PERFECT..... right size, right look: mission accomplished.
Now we're going to be in the 'building stage' for quite some time. (Some assembly required: LOL.)
So things are beginning to come together a tad.
-
Faith, we have not been able to find any bar stools that are really comfortable. Hopefully, one day. We have been busy going through boxes of storage stuff. Hope you get all comfortable soon, Is this place where your dad lives?
Sharon, Coonie, and Checkum you guys find the cutest pictures. You guys have had a fun day on the beach.
Julz of the beach, have missed you but know you are very busy right now.
Sahalie, am really missing you girlfriend. I know you are busy getting settled in again.
Jaz, my music of the beach friend. Hope you have had a great day.
Lisa, you do take a good picture, you are our pro. here.
Am missing Mary-Lou, where are you girl friend.
Wings, missing you also, here is light house for you.
Goodnight beach buds, see ya tomorrow
-
Hey, there's our Spar!
I just wanted to let the beach babes know that I moved the songs to their own thread so everyone can feel free to post the songs/music that inspires them, brings joy, or good memories. Music is joy and I would love to hear YOUR favorite songs.
-
Speaking of pretty pictures, look at the view out our back door tonight:
Pretty gorgous........
-
Gorgeous!!!
-
Faith - did you take these? If so, you're in the wrong profession. You should be a professional photographer. They're gorgeous....the colors are amazing!!!!
-
How did you do that collage thingy? Inquiring minds want to copy.
-
You can do an easy collage on Picasa 3 which is a free download from Google
I do love lighthouses
-
Thanks Lisa! I am going to try that then. I have some pics of the dog I lost last year that I would love to do this with.
-
Or you can do Print Shop, but it is more work
-
Thank you Coonie. I did take the pics...... only our Creator-Artist can create those kind of colors, tho. Lisa has been kind enough to teach me some of her amazing skills -- even suggesting the camera to get for my birthday last month.
I have soooooooooo much to learn about cameras.
Jasmine, as Lisa already said, I created the collage @ Picasa 3 and they have numerous 'choices' in how to organize your pics into a single image/collage. It's really been fun to play there and try new ways to arrange the pics.
You'll LOVE it!!
I'll go see if I can find one that I assembled and then printed for my DH for a little Christmas present -- it turned out really well.
-
Here's a collage of my pics from last summer (these are in Door Co. WI)
-
Since this is the beach thread, I'll share a collage of our Aruba adventure.
Newbies, when I was first dx and then in the midst of rads, my DH made the reservation for us to go to Aruba on a second honeymoon -- for me to have something to look forward to. (Chorus: awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I know. He's a keeper.)
Here's a peek at that week last summer:
This is yet another assemblage "technique" available at Picasa.
-
Ooooh, I like that one! What a sweetie pie you have there.
-
These are the very same images, just arranged into a different formation -- giving a different look.
-
How did you get that orange cast to the bottom picture? Was that naturally done or did you do something to get that?
-
Here's a different peek-a-boo:
To save an impression of a specific morning.... the many moods.
-
The orange was au-natural. I'm not sophisticated enough to change colors or truly edit pictures. I have learned how to 'enhance' by pulling up the shadows, or adding some highlight to brighten when necessary etc..... but basically it was an 'orange' sundown I just clicked it.
-
I love thoughs pitcures, Coonie I will be thinking and praying for you, I am having alot of the same trouble and being tested too, You hang on and remember all the friends you have. God bless you all. enjoy the beach sunset. God loves you and so do I.
-
Here's one more peek. Can you believe the babeez??? And how they've grown!!
This is when everyone was sick & no one made it outta their jammies.
-
Wow, they have all grown so much. Glad they are all better now.
-
Faith those are the most beautiful pitcures
They are not little anymore.
-
This ends my portion of tonight's tutorial on Picasa collage-work.
Hope that it inspires you to play with your photos.............
Everybody sleep happily.
Can't help but post this one again..... gotta be my all-time fav:
(Thanks for indulging me & allowing to post it again. LOL)
