Sahalie, no pic........

Hi there, I think I caught a big wave and had a hard time returning to shore. Thank you for such wonderful birthday wishes and wonderful food and drinks.
My pictures didn't turn out very well Grrrrr
I had two cakes, and lots of gifts. Michael had roses waiting for me when I got up that morning.
My day was long and yesterday was to busy. Went to dinner with my hubby, and didn't get back till late.
Maybe I will have more time to play here now that I have some time.
I will be going to Charleston SC in about two weeks. Hope to get some good beach shots then.
Anyone been there? Lisa?

Mary Lou* Sooooooo good to see your posts.
I am so sorry I'm late to post the Scavenger hunt. Big busy day today with our suppliers and reorganizing our new items. Plus it was kinda a nice warm day so slow and easy to enjoy the outside.
So I shall slow down and hurry up to enter items for the all new Beach 2009 January Scavenger hunt.
OK will begin to find finds.

wavin' nighty-night!!
our mattress & box springs were delivered today, only they forgot to bring the bed frame: DUH!
Spar, I can relate. New-house-itis: the hot water heater was not working, but it's been fixed. Now, I'm wondering if the toilet in the guest room is leaking or something's not quite right???
Made a HUGE run to Target and we have light bulbs, trash cans, shelf liner, batteries.... all the biggies: toilet paper and a paper-towel roll holder!!
sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep well, we'll be close to the floor tonight....................
-
p.s. Mary Lou, good to see you.
I have been to Charleston several times. It's gorgous -- so historic. Enjoy. Take your camera.
-
Will await our list tomorrow and spend the day hunting on the beach ( i hope) I do have a granddaughters birthday party to go to and no present yet. gotta do something about that. It is late so everyone have a good night.

Nice to see you Beachettes.........but where is our Checkum? Anyone heard from her. Chemo week? Maybe she is hiding.

Sending good vibrations for the Checkum hunt. Haven't seen her elsewhere.
(((((((((((((((((((((((Checkum))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Speaking of hugs, there's so many here beach-side that need one. Off the top of my head I can think of ((((((((((((((((((((((((Footie)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) who's havin' a rough go of it.
Now that the birthday bash has subsided for ((((((((((((((((((((((((Mary Lou)))))))))))))))) I can focus on the pity-party-economic-reality-thud-part. Sending serious hugs your way.
(((((((((((((((((Julz and Mr. Julz))))))))))))))))))))))) still recovering from sugeries.
((((((((((((((((Spar)))))))))))))))))))))) Having moved and recently left employment.
((((((((((((((((Dream))))))))))))))))))))) Always deserving of a hug.
These are just the situations that spring to mind. I'm sure there are gobs more. Those of us that can offer the hugs need to stand together for the hugg-ies.

Must run. Today's daddy's birthday. It's still all a surprise!!!! Can't wait to see if my brother makes it in. There are the four of us sibblings, and I know three of us will be there, possibly the fourth. My father may need oxygen at noon!!!

Here's a hug for you.

Oh wonderous beach friends, I feel so blessed and happy to have you all as my friends. I will check in all during the day to see if our scavenger hunt is posted. Have to go to town and run some errands. Everyone have a great day. God is good, All the time.

((((((((((((((((((((((Beach Babes!!))))))))))))))))))))))))
Sorry I worried you - so nice to be loved LOL --- I have been trying to get some work done this week (imagine that - LOL) I have my Last Chemo on the 20th - hopefully if my white cells and ANC's are back up. I am doing fine just had a busy week. AND dang - It is freezing here - I need to get myself back on the beach. Faith - you are not as brave as Sharon! - LOL
I'll be back to hang out for a while tomorrow!
-
Relieved to see that we've found you Checkum.
-
(((((((((((((((((((((Thanks Girlfriend!))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
-
Checkum. We forgot to tell you the number one rule of the beach, work hard at not letting work interfere with your beachside frolics. LOL. Glad to hear that you're being productive.
Who can remind me how to send a PM here, to a person not in your favorites list? How do you access the list of 'everyone'....... I need to track down HipChick (and then a number-which I can't quite remember?? HipChick47 maybe??), from the chat world as she lives right up the road a heartbeat, but I can't seem to navigate to find her PM box here. H-E-L-P!!
And LUV come meet us for lunch if I can find her..... and maybe Choca too, in a perfect world. Who else lives in north/central FL I wonder?
-
Happy Friday Beach babes. I'm so looking forward to the weekend. Only 8 more hours to go. Checkum, so happy to see you are doing so well. Congrats on your last chemo. Its been a long journey for sure.

Faithandfifty:
"Member List" is in the upper right hand corner of the page, right under the pink "Welcome" if you are logged in. Click on "Member List" and then you can type in "Hip" or "HipCh" etc...
To send a PM to a member, just click on their blue or purple "linky" name (either in the list, or in a conversation like this) -- it will take you to their member page, and towards the upper right of THAT page is a link that says "Send Member a Private Message"

Good Morning on the Beach! Enjoy!
