My son is in the air!!!!!
I just got the call that my son jumped off one plane in Kuwait onto another one to the USA, he is in the AIR!!!!!!! OMG I am so excited. I am sending a special thank you again to the wonderful sister who has donated her frequent flyer miles to get me my airfare. I have a post on my blog about my other dilema in affording my hotel. I know times are tough so I expect nothing but please be there in spirit with me when I scream and welcome that boy home where he belongs with the hugest hug from his mother.
I will worrry about surgeries and everything else upon my return to Ohio. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support and love. I will try to keep up within things but no guarntess. I will be posting some wonderful photos at some point though.
Thanks again and I love you all!!!! I am off to Texas YEEHAW!!!!!

May this be the first of many great and blessed things for you and son this year. I promise you, the fact that you will be there for your son when he returns will be something he will enjoy now, but will appreciate so much more as time passes. When I came home from war, the greeting I received filled me with anger and shaped my life in the wrong way for years. Your love and devotion will make him a much better person for the rest of his life.

LuAnn, I know just how you are feeling and I am glad that you were able to get the ff miles to go and see him when he lands. I wasn't able to see my son when he got off the ship in Hawaii but I was there when he landed in Charlotte 2 weeks later for his 2 week vacation.
