facebook anyone?
My sister and I both started Facebook pages so we could keep in touch that way too when she moved to CA. Anyone else on there? I like that I have to approve people who can see my page. It's not just something ANYONE can see.

I'm on there... I just joined 2 weeks ago, and I like it a lot. A little bit of a blast from the past. Every time I log on I see someone else I know.
-
I started an account a few weeks ago also. fun, fun.
I'd encourage everyone from here to join the Komen interest group. They're looking for 100,000 to join by the end of the year -- and they're no where near that as of yet.
-
Well, I'm feeling a little bit dated.....I guess i'll have to ask my kids to help me with this.
-
I Love Facebook! Have been on for a while now, it's fun looking up old friends!
-
I joined Facebook when my daughters went off to college. I became friends with many of their friends and really enjoy the photos they post.........they are all such hams! Lol!
-
Yep, I'm on there too....but can't remember what "my name is" on that one...LOL!!!!!
-
I'm on...my husband and I joined it to keep up with my son's trip. It's where he's been posting his travel pictures for the past year and a half. I haven't looked up old friends....hmmmm....I should do that!
-
PM me with your names or emails so I can look you guys up on there!!
I like the group I bet I can find 1,000,000 people that hate cancer
-
Same here - if you feel comfortable PM me your info
-
Ok, I joined, with the help of my 16 y/o daughter. I now have 5 friends (all hers). OH...of course 2 of those are my kids.....
-
I joined at the request of my step-daughter. It's lots of fun, I've actually "re-friended" people I haven't heard from in years! As an added bonus, most of my step-daughter's friends have friended me so I see lots of things that make me laugh. I have to censor what I show her dad.
She's almost 19, brings back some magical memories.
I'm up to 15 friends!!
-
I'm on too, but am not nearly as involved or as active as many of my friends. My daughter is all about it and has alot of elaborate stuff on there as well as on her blog. What i like best, though, is Catbook....her cat has a big ole profile and, at last count, 12 friends (all cats, of course!). One of these days, I'll have my cats join too.....yeah, right, in my spare time
!

Yeah, I'm on Facebook. I try to keep up with my daughter and nieces.
-
I have a question for you "Faces"....what's up with all those freakin' plants everyone is always sending? Geez!
~Marin
-
I just joined a couple weeks ago..fun, fun, fun! Marin, I'm getting a lot of those plants too and have actually returned a couple to the people that sent them. Not really sure what the point is though, other than to send a different plant.
-
The plants are for an application that is suppose to save the rain forest. For every so many you send it's suppose to save a square foot. I'm bad but I have looked into how they are doing this!
-
I'm on along with several of my bc.org friends.
Feel free to "friend" me. I'll send you a plant, too.
-
I joined today. someone at work was asking me if I was there and I told her I could waste time on the Internet plenty well without being on Facebook. But now I"ve decided I might as well!
-
The green patch application goes to help save the rain forest. It is fun, an easy to use, and it truly is amazing what a little computer sending of plants can translate into real life. ADD THE APPLICATION. I've saved 40 square feet of rain forest so far.
-
Hey Jill... after a long time request from one of our girls here... I joined... it's fun and let us know how is everyone doing... family, friends, ...
I have a cyberdog too... Beautiful... love training her. I saw that now we can adopt cats too... but I am not a cat person... w/ stick w/ my Beautiful.
PM me.
-
I'm on Facebook......here's how it goes for me.......yahoo........Facebook......BC.org........you might say I'm addicted.......I think I've got like 150 friends or so......love keeping in touch with everyone.....pics are my fave.
-
I joined some months ago, and found out a lot of 'stuff ' I think my DD and G/d would rather I hadn't seen, it was quite an eye opener to me as to how the young things think and act !!!!!!!! (and swear....phew !!)
I haven't peeked for ages, feel like I am seeing things they'd rather keep private !!
Isabella.
-
Isabella... U don't have to pick into the 'younger darker windows'... KIDS... just stay w/ the happy adult US... LOL
So... are U PMing me your info?
-
i'm on it too... at first i thought, why would i want to join this thing w/ a bunch of colege/high school kids... but lo and behold, i am loving it!!! i've reconnected w/ some old high school friends, i even found the kid i used to babysit for, he is almost 30!!! i am friends w/ a couple of my friends teenage daughters and they swore me that whatever i see on their facebook stays on their facebook... so far i have obliged... lol!

Facebook should be called Reunion... that's what it has been for me. I've connected with so many old friends, and it has been wonderful. Obviously, only my friends can see my pictures and things, and I trust that people will keep things private...(ie: my Jamaica pix for NBN and anyone else that has seen them, LOL)
But if you're new to facebook and you friend request me-- if I only know you by your screen name here- just send me a msg along with the friend request, b/c sometimes I totally space out.
-
Did you girls know that BC.Org is on Facebook?
-
What do you mean that BC.org is on Facebook? I just joined a group there called "Voices of Survivors" that's pretty cool. They have a website with personal account videos too.. www.voicesofsurvivors.com
~Marin
-
Yes but Lilia, I don't get the purpose of their Facebook page ... I've visited it.
-
Marin... I sent U an invite... you should look into your request box; BC.Org is under CAUSES (I for instance support causes related to Children/Animals/ and BC.Org./cancer)... by the way... nice "talking" to U the other eve.
Rock... I still have not found U! And the purpose... I guess spread the word about BC.Org is there/here to help ALL, fundraising, spread the support that BC.Org can give and all the good BC.Org does... . Just MOPO! By the way... love your new picture/avatar... nice to see U!
-
