I have been diagnosed with ILC & DCIS within the same tumor. I have had a lumpectomy & have

negative nodes. Has anyone else had this diagnosis or one similiar?

    Yes... they told me I had a 1.2 cm mass and it was invasive ILC with DCIS sitting on it.  Very small but it was there.  I also had a lumpectomy, chemo, rads, and will be on herceptin for a year!

    Yes, but in two separate primaries in the same breast.  Great that your nodes are clear and it's early stage and grade one.

    i was dx'd with ILC in my left breast in october of 04- 0.9 cms- i had a lumpectomy and radiation and started on arimidex- in august of 05 i was dx'd with DCIS in my right breast (found on steriotactic biopsy) considering my history i had another lumpectomy but the tissue sent to pathology was totally benign- no DCIS whatsoever- so yes it is possible to be dx'd with both-good luck on your journey and keep the faith ladies-
