good news and bad news

the good news:  My nodes are clear!!!!

the bad news:   the BC is triple neg.

So... although I'm celebrating the nodes, I'm terrified.

I saw the "triple neg" forum but are there any more of us posting in the IDC? I need some success stories!

    Congrads on the clear nodes...thats one big hurdle.....

    Now on to the trip neg stuff......there are lots of ladies here with trip neg and Im sure they will be along shortly to help answer your questions.

    Mine bc was er/pr+ and her2- so I can help guide you but wanted to bump this up so others can see it and visit with you.

    Hi Michele S.  Diagnosed with triple negative bc, no nodes, CMF treatment and radiation, 7.5 years cancer free.

    Lets hear some more triple negative sucess stories.

    Hi Michele

    I'm trip neg and stage 3a. 2.5 years out and NED. I remember when I was waiting to hear my biopsy results and was searching the net. I came across articles about trip neg and all the grim predictions. I thought to myself well if I do have BC at least it won't be that - so uncommon. HUH SURPRISE. I was terrified. Well I'm here to tell you that trip negs can do ok too. So great that your nodes are clear. That is truely worth celebrating. Come join us on the trip neg site. Lots of good info there.
