developments of cancer research

Hi all, I've been reading up lately on cancer and it realy interest me. Well, the effect of cancer is definitely damaging, be it physical or emotionally, especially when one could not accept the fact. A word of advice to all cancer patients, BE STRONG, LIVE STRONG. Currently, I'm doing a research on the developments of cancer in terms of current/ new treatment OR any new discoveries. Can any kind soul here just talk to me about the treatments or new discoveries that you know of. I'm truly grateful for your help. Thanks a millons.

    I'm very happy with the hyperthermia combined with low dose radiation I received at Valley Cancer Institute in LA. My inflammatory breast cancer had spread to my neck, prognosis wasn't good, went to VCI and while it took a lot of treatment to get all the tumors gone, I'm alive and well 2 yrs later, working full time. Treatment is non-invasive and almost pleasant. What a concept!!! their website is vci.org.

    Are you looking for conventional or alternative?

    See our Tijuana thread...if you can get through the negative comments other had to post.  Many of these alternative protocol's are in small studies.  Alot of info about alternative here. Best things is start reading.

    Also look at the threads where we discuss books and websites.  There are a couple in this section.

    Conventional look at Clinicaltrials.gov for ongoing research and National Cancer Institute, MD Anderson and Sloan Kettering website.
