    Hi Tyra,

I used to live in Antioch and have moved up north. My sister, who was diagnosed at 36, is a 19 year survivor and leads the BC group in Stockton for ACS. Give ACS a call and ask for Sue. She's been my rock throughout my journey...

If you had the mastectomy of the other breast back in 2004, would you have avoided the second BC? Did you do the BRCA test?

I am thinking if I should do the mastectonmy and reconstruction of the other good breast to avoid any futur risks.....

    hi new

i did have the BRAC test because i have 3 daughter it came back i didn't have the gene . But my first cancer was stage 2 0/13 nodes tripple negative with clean margins . i did do 4 round of AC and 4 round of Taxotere. Since then i have had regular (a lil late) routine mamagram if i was to do it all over again it would be my personal choice to remove both breast the first time. Doing reasearch tripple negative have a higher chance of coming back. and this way you can decrease your chances of cancer coming in your other breast

    just my opinion

    i hope this help
