    hi faith, i have been enjoying reading about your latest project!  It sounds like it is going great!  I saw my name here and thought i better check in at the beach.  Unfortunately, we are having so much rain here now after our big snowstorms that stuck on the ground for 2 weeks and made this area come to a standstill, and doesn't usually ever happen that way up here.  Snow usually gets washed away by rain.  And now we are back to our usual "sideways" rain----can't use an umbrella easily because the rain comes at you from sideways.  ohh.. so depressing with dark grey skies, not that you can exactly look up at the sky or you would drown....sigh.....

    Here is one of my old haunts---the beach at San Francisco.  The beach is beyond the stone wall and down a bunch of stairs. 

    Faith, do you protect your guitar like this guy and his cello?

    To all the beach babies, We are having flooding in Auburn Washington, My house is ok, But we have another storm tonight and snow on the mountains are melting, Please pray for the people that lost their homes and  everything in them. I am so blessed to make it this far, It is suppost to slow down in the morning. Its a scarey storm. Take care, Debbie

    Guess where I'm going today?? Back to the recording studio!! LOL.

    Today and tomorrow are our marathon days. Can we stand being cooped up in the engineering room for more than six hours?? We'll eat those gorgous cupcakes sent earlier in the week, they're so bright and happy, I know they'll help keep us focused!

    Coming down to the wire. I feel like we're the underdogs in the race against time, but will do all we can to persevere, till this is complete.

    This must be hot chocolate, since I don't drink coffee.

    Good morning Beach Babes.   Just one more day for the weekend!  Sorry for all those with rain today.  We had our turn last week and when combined with the cold, its just bleak.  I'm hoping for sunshine your way soon.  Its times like that when you just need to snuggle up with a good book, cup of cocoa, and the fire going.

    Speaking of a good book----I got Checkum's book in yesterday, and can't wait to start reading it. It looks VERY interesting.!!!!! I should be done with it soon!!

    IIIIII"MMMMMMM BBBBBaaaack!  Have missed you all so much, besides no computer, I have been sick.  Still coughing a lot but feeling better.

    Jaz,  so good to see you back, have missed you something awful.

    Julz of the beach, have missed you even though we have talked on the phone some.  I have just felt so out of contact, not even knowing what is going on in the news.

    Sharon and Coonie, you have kept the beach going smoothly with such cute funny pictures, thank you.  My kids had a pet coon when they were teenagers, I loved that coon, He lived in the house and on payday we would get him a bucket of minnows and a bag of cheetos those were his 2 favorite things.  He would even wash his cheetos.  When he got old and cranky he wouldn't come in the house anymore but people would stop and say things like did you know you have a racoon on top of your house.  So I love the name Coonie.

    Faith, so happy things are going smoothly for you, still have everything crossed.

    Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Our Spar has brightened our beach again.  This is a happy happy day!

    So, how is the new house shaping up?  Can we get some pics?  It must feel like moving into a palace after all this time.

    Checkum - I started the book last night and it's GREAT!!! I could hardly put it down, but then my

    eyes started getting veerrrrryyy heavy, so I'm hoping to finish it real soon. You're an excellent writer!!

    Sharon & Foots - just wanted you to know I talked to my doctor and nurse yesterday, and they are getting me an appointment with lymphedema specialist.......hooray!

    Julz, Faith, Celia, AlwaysHope and everybody else hope you all are having a great day! I know Faith is singing her heart and soul out today.

    Hey Beach babes.  A friend just emailed me a link to get a free copy of Suze Orman's new book on finance called "Suze Orman's 2009 Action Plan.'  She said Suze was on Oprah show today and will be having an online webinar next Thursday night on Oprah.com.  I've been a Suze Orman follower for a few years now.  Her book "The Courage to be Rich" is the one that helped me let go of my clutter in my house.

    Spar, i am so glad to see you back and how is living in the new house??? You must be so happy!!!!

    julz, you beautiful creature!!! How are you? How is your hubby doing from his surgery?

    Footie, we have had alot of rain but not much flooding like they said there would be.  Today we even saw the SUN for a short while!!!!!  Did you have lots of flooding?  I just can't wait for spring!!

    checkum, from your pic you are just the cutest thing!!!  so glad you have come to the beach.

    sharon, coonie, and luv, you girls post such great pictures!!! You make me smile all the time! 

    MaryLou, where are you? playing with the grands??
