Prayers for a Cure in 2009

Dear Lord, I pray that in 2009 a cure will be found for this dreaded disease that has affected so many of your children.  I pray that 2009 will find each of us healthy and happy and spreading the word of Your wonderful works.  Wrap your arms around those that suffer or mourn so they will know Your peace.  In Jesus name I pray.

    GrammyNancy, I pray every day for a cure.  I join you in prayer that 2009 will bring us a cure.  So many of us have been affected by this disease, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, daughters, mothers, grandmothers.  I hope we can join together some day to celebrate the cure.  Maryiz

    Let us raise our voices together. Let us use our experience with this evil beast to illuminate the hearts and minds of those who can contribute to finding our cure. Let us raise our voices in unison and advocate for our sisters & brothers, our daughters and their daughters..... for every family that has been effected by this scourge.

    May there be an enormous measure of peace granted to those families who are missing one in their midst, that science failed, that have passed from the family dinner table onto a wholeness that we seek while living here in this realm.

    May this be the time. May we be here to join the great celebration as the path to wellness is understood. May we live our lives in hope.

    May we discover through pain and torment,
    the strength to live with grace and humor.
    May we discover through doubt and anguish,
    the strength to live with dignity and holiness.
    May we discover through suffering and fear,
    the strength to move toward healing.
    May it come to pass that we be restored to health and to vigor.
    May Life grant us wellness of body, spirit, and mind.
    And if this cannot be so, may we find in this transformation and passage
    moments of meaning, opportunities for love
    and the deep and gracious calm that comes
    when we allow ourselves to move on.

    Dear Heavenly Father,

    As I start this day I am laying all of my problems and fears in your hands for only you can heal my illness! I Thank you for the strenght and the ability to understand and grasp the reality of what is appearing around myself and my sisters! Father we THank you for  our accomplishments,our children,grandchildren,mothers, fathers and brothers and sisters  and we ask for a healing for the ones who are suffering! We pray that you will give our family a feeling of relief and understanding in th e days ahead of us! Father we know that with you all things are possible we just have to believe!  In Jesus name we pray AMEN!
