Okay, another technologically challenged question for you girls/guys.

If a movie is available in full screen or wide screen editions, which one should I choose?  I have a new, high def digital TV.  Help!

I don't have a high def tv but I do like watching movies in the wide screen format. It has more of the feel of going to the theater. When they were starting to show movies (A&E) in the wide screen format, to show the difference between the formats, they showed the same scene in wide screen vs full screen. With the wide screen format you could see what was going on at what would be the fringe area in full screen, sometimes the character who was talking on the side of the screen would actually be 'cut off' in the full screen format vs the wide screen format.
