Pallative radiation

Is anyone having radiation for bone mets? It has been recommended to me to have radiation to my lower back and pelvic area to decrease the pain from bone mets. Does anyone know what side effects I can expect? Digestive? etc.?

    Although I have not had pallative rads myself, a number of the women on the recurrence and metastatic cancer board have.  I suggest you repost this question there, and I'm sure you will get a number of replies from experienced gals.

    I have  bone mets in my pelvic and the mets is in progression. I have a lot of pain an I have
