All I am eating tonight is a bowl of dehydrated soup and a handful of granola and hope to find some root veges to pick, or fruit, or maybe catch a rabbit tomorrow. Goodnight mountain. Dreaming of blackberry bushes.
-
I just loved this totem...wished I could have shipped it home!!
this other one wasn't a typical one, but I loved it..
-
SocalLisa---your pictures are always so unique!
Spar--I'm right behind you on the hike!!
-
don't slip!!
-
lol--------if only I were in that kind of shape!!!!
-
After chemo, my balance is still an "issue"
-
Wow love those totums. LC4909, in this virtual world you can keep up for sure. In the real world I can't even do 2 blocks without pain in the hips so I am hiking these mountains, that is my story and I am sticking to it. LOL Glad you can join me.
-
Thank God for the virtual world
I guess we can keep our balance there too:)
-
What a sweet picture. Hello mountain friends just a quick fly by got to go. Have a good day.
-
high mountain lakes, I would love to visit these, they are amazing. I bet they are beautiful in the spring when all the flowers come out.
-
this would be such a good place to go canoeing.
If we ever get moved, I will scan some of the places we have visited. We have some gorgous pictures but they are all in storage.
-
Ok Spar---while you're working, I found some canoes.
Hope it will be enough for everyone! Let's go!!
-
It is midnight here but I am ready, we need life jackets and a picnic lunch.
got several of these
A picnic basket of food and drink
and hoping we don't run into one of these
-
Off we go to explore. Looks like some of us
picked up some rafts instead of canoes. Water may get
a little rough. Spar, thankfully you packed the lifejackets!
-
We are planning a trip to Glacier National Park this June
has anyone been there..it looks beautiful
-
Here are some more pix from the web..
-
that is beautiful Lisa, LC in spite of nearly dieing on a white water rafting trip, I will try to work up my courage and go for it on the rafting trip but I have to warn you stage IV rapids really scare me.
There is so much peace and beauty in the mountains. Blue water, huge mountains with snow and still beautiful colors of flowers in the brush.
-
We ran across this villages in our hikings, it is so peaceful here and a little resturant with wonderful food, fed us hikers for free as we passed through their village.
-
We really have to watch our food with these little critters around, they will eat anything, one ran off with a whole unopened package of nutter butter peanut butter sandwich cookies.
-
Spar--a beautiful sunset with a little (blue) in the mix. Hope you're feeling better.
good night mountain buddies....
Maybe tomorrow we can find some adventure
-
I won't be able to have any adventures for a few days, we will be moving tomorrow and takes a couple of days to set everything up and get new service so LC keep it going for me and I will miss you.

Spar - I thought I saw you driving down the road with your
couch on top of your car. Didn't you find the moving truck I
brought you?
Oh poor guy. I think ya'll loaded him down too much.
Spar...just rest here awhile and let the others do the heavy work. Take a break...
Have a snack with some french fries and catfish
-
Spar--I know you're tired....hope you sleep well tonight.
Rest Rest Rest---moving is a bummer
-
Hi there.. today we were up a little in the Southern California mountains today near Temecula..we saw some snow but didn't get that far..this is what it looks like here in the winter below 3000 feet..
-
I love the mountains and what awesome pictures. Now where's my beverage after this big climb?
-
AlwaysHope here's a little something to wet your whistle.
SoCalLisa--I think California has some of the most beautiful sights.
We've been several times. One of our favorite places is at Ronald Reagan's Library.
Up on the mountain with beautiful views. Have you been? I have tons of pictures from there.
And of course, Laguna Beach..........whew---what beauty!!
