Happy Holiday season, Merry Christmas, Kwaanza, Hannukah, etc.  I know some here might not feel like 'tis the season right now, but our thoughts are with you so that next year will be more joyous.

    Yes, thanks Erik.  This holiday season did sneak up on me when I was paying attention to something else... :)

    ... but I'm celebrating anyway.  After all, it's the end of 2008!

    Merry Christmas, Route53.  I have really enjoyed your posts when I've come across them.  It's great to have a husband's perspective.  And I also wanted to say that, even though this Christmas wasn't as jolly as Christmases pre-bc-dx, I found I was much less stressed about the little things that didn't go perfectly, or that I didn't get done, and much more aware and appreciative of the important things, like family, friends, and the incredible warmth and beauty of the season -- all of which I probably took much more for granted in the past.   Maybe this heightened awareness is one of the hidden blessings of bc?      Deanna
