Hello dear friends, Just popping in to say hello and update you. I have been diagnosed with a recurrence of breast cancer and will be having bilateral mastectomy on January 13. This came as quite a surprise, and not a good one, but I will ride out the storm. Just wanted to let you know I am still keeping all of you in my heart and prayers. Slonedeb I am glad you were able to post and let us know about you. You need to nurture yourself... be kind to yourself. I know you have such a hard road to travel. I am praying for your daughter too. Footprints, hope you are doing better and feeling better. I think of you all so often. Sheri, you know I am right by your side, holding your hand and praying for the best results possible. Valerie, thanks so much for coming here so often to encourage and hold up. God bless you all. Pam

Prayer of Hope
Help me,Lord,to fight this disease. Help me to take charge of my medical care and treatment.
Give me a positive, fighting spirit. Help me to no when it is appropriate, remembering always
to treat everyone, including the medical staff attending me, with the same dignity and respect
that I expect of them. Guard me from the temptation to resign to passivity, negativity, or anxiety.
Surround me with people who care about me and who will pick me up if I fall, In Jesus name I pray. AMEN

Popping in to wish all of you a Merry Christmas. Time has passed so quickly this year. We have all had some losses and heartaches, good news and bad news, but in my view, God is still in control and I am very thankful for that and for all of you. I would like to offer a prayer for us all on Christmas.
Our most gracious Heavenly Father, We come to you humbly on the eve of the day we celebrate the birth of your son, Jesus. We thank you so much for the miracle of his birth, his life and his resurrection from the dead. Thank you for the hope that we, too, will be with you and our loved ones together in heaven. We are most richly blessed here as a group, as a nation, as individuals. Lord so many are struggling with so many issues, many a result of this dreaded disease called cancer. We continue to pray for each of those, and I would like especially to ask your blessings on Deb C, Slonedeb and Footprints angel, and Lisa. I pray Lord for strength, for courage and for hope. This Christmas season let us feel your love for us; your arms around us. Be near to us we pray. Help us to continue to encourage and support each other and not to allow evil to enter this sacred place which should be a healing place of harmony. Please ease up side effects and pain and ease our heartaches. For those we have lost this year, we honor them. For those who have been spared, we thank you. Thank you for always being there, always loving us and always knowing what is best. Father be with my sisters here. Help them to have a merry Christmas and may your light shine through us so that others may see. Amen
