Hi, everyone. As we watch politicians & bureaucrats argue about the best way to
help home-owners keep their homes & prevent millions more Americans from losing their jobs, some of our friends on the forum are living with the real consequences of the U.S. financial crisis. Diane, aka Badboob67, is one of those friends. While she & her husband have been waiting weeks for word on whether they can refinance their mortgage & prevent foreclosure, Diane's husband was laid off from his job, just one week before Christmas.

I edited this to try to avoid getting in trouble on the forum because I don't want anyone to feel like I'm pressuring you guys & then get myself kicked off. If any of you has questions or has trouble with the web page, let me know.

Held, thank you! The site & my blog pages have been a bit neglected since about halfway through rads, and then I had to go back to work & for weeks, when I wasn't at work, I was at home sleeping!! I'm finally starting to have a little more energy now, but presently that's going into cleaning the house for my Christmas dinner guests!! I hope to get some serious art & updating done after the holidays.
You all are so awesome, you know. There's a great message on the site from Diane. I told her that she has given us an opportunity to live up to the real spirit of the season, which is a great gift to us all.

Thanks for doing this, Kathi...I was going to make a contribution to something in the names of my niece and nephews, and this is perfect. My family is so blessed in so many ways, and you're right--giving to others is what this wonderful season is all about.
