5 NEW ANGELS
Comments

Norm. I can't find sufficient words to tell you how grateful I am to see you check in, with the angel chorus. I can only begin to imagine how difficult it is for you to find words at times. We don't need long conversations, when you're not in the mood, but seeing the angels always brings a deep sigh. Thank you.
I've allowed myself a very quiet day of role playing: COUCH POTATO. What did we do before having the web to keep us company on a snowy day? I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to reach out -- across the heavens.
Take care.

AMEN Faith, God bless you Norm, I am praying for you.
Hugs Debbie -
Morning Norman. -20C here this morning in Ontario. Hope it's warmer where you are. (((((Norman)))))
-
Norm. Good morning. I can't remember how to translate Celcius to Farenheit (or spell either one: LOL) but I gotta figure Sharon's pretty cold.
Sending the whole thread some warm thoughts. Filled with light and love. Offering encouragement from above. Sometimes my brain won't stop rhyming........... professional hazard I suppose.
Preparing for my last big trip of the calendar year.Leaving tomorrow for VA -- HEY! maybe it will be warmer there?
Will send you greetings from the airport, assuming the cyber connection is functioning.
Strength and courage, friend. Strength and courage.
Just a little smile to start your day.(((((((((((((norm)))))))))))))))))))

Dear Norm:
I just read an account of the crash. "Beloved mother" and "prominent member of the First Nation" must have made you so proud. Will your adult children and grandchild be with you during the holiday time? I hope you can feel the love rushing North to you all.
Blessings~~~

I’ve tried to post several times this past week, and I kept getting ‘timed out’ because the site is taking too long to respond when I pressed submit. I don’t know if it is the time of day I’m trying to get on or what, but I don’t have much choice about when I get on during the week. Grrrr. So, this message has been patiently waiting to be sent. I’m going to try again.
My sister's surgery was Thursday, and she’s doing really well. I’ve been out of my classroom Friday and today to work on the application for the California Distinguished School Award that we’ve been nominated for due to our high test scores, so between that, planning for the substitute for three days, grading papers, and getting ready for the holiday’s, I’ve been pulled in a lot of directions. WHOOHOO, it worked!!!! Thankfully, I type in Word and then cut and paste, otherewise, I would have lost the message I typed. Here is where the orignal message started:
I wanted to pop in real fast to let you know you've been on my mind...wondering how things were going, and Faith, your project sounds fabulous...your early Christmas-what a sweetheart of a man you've been blessed with...and your vigil here for our dear Norm.
WOW!!!! Faith, look what you've created for our dear Norm!!!! I am so sorry that I've not been able to post since the Thanksgiving holiday...it has been so busy here with school, healing from my port removal, and just being so darned tired after being at school all day.
Norm, I have been keeping you in my heart dear friend knowing how difficult this past Wednesday, 12/3, would be for you. Your family is beautiful-thanks for sharing it with us Faith. I so wish that I was able to be here almost daily as I used to be during treatment, but alas my reality won't allow me to check in so often anymore. Please know that even though I'm only here once a week, that you are always in my thoughts as are our other Angel Watchers...Faith, Puppy, Joy, Footie, and Suz....and now, so many more!!!!!
As hard as it was, you've made it through the first big milestone, one year, and your Brenda and the kids are looking down upon you, so proud of your efforts to move forward one step at a time. What a beautiful way to pay them tribute, Norm, with flowers and prayers and fondly remembering.
Love, SIS Kimberly -

KimberSIS. It's so good to see you! I knew that your whirlwind-life had you on-the-go, but to also have techno-issues in the midst of all you're balancing right now....... so glad to hear that your port has been removed and that you're recovering on that issue. AND your sister, sweet twinsie.
Thanks for giving us the latest. Have you heard? Our "Joy" has had an extreme set-back and has had brain surgery now too (as I understand it.) Continue to send her your loving energy.
Norm. I'm headed to the airport today. I'm excited, because one of the other presenters at the conference and I are becoming buddies. Road warriors of a sort. So that's something to look forward to: catching up, learning more about one another's work. We'll have dinner together, if all goes according to plan. Maybe it will be a tad warmer, as I'm headed south!!
Hope that you're finding things to keep moving one foot in front of the next, toward the holidays.
big hugs, very big hugs.

Hi Norman,
I'm not sure of the time difference where you are. I just know I'm up a few hours before you. That's why I like to think my hugs are waiting for you when you wake up.
(((((Norman)))))

Safely arrived. Thinking of you. Sending you strength and hugs.
I'm reading a book that I'm really enjoying..... makes traveling so much brighter.

Hi Norm. Hope that each day is progress with that new hope growing within you. A neighbour's little boy died of cancer and we had a parkette (grass, swings and a jungle gym) renamed for him. When he was fairly healthy he helped clean up that little patch of grass. There is a maple tree planted by the bench with his name on it. We like to think that he is playing there. I know his mother visits the park often.

God loves you Norm and is carrying you, Take care,Debbie

Hey Norman, I guess Faith must be unable to do computer stuff today. Just checking in and sending you a hug. I hope someone did something nice for you today. Are you still reading these posts? (((((Norman)))))

I know only to well what you are going through.............right down to the semi-truck............Best wishes to you.

It's another day Norm. You are pushing ahead with each step. (((((Norman)))))

Norm!!! I'm back from my most recent wonderful trip. I feel so blessed to come here and see your post and witness what a community can do for one that is hurting. We have so much potential to be of support to one another.... even in the midst of, and thru the most unimaginable situations.
I'm so encouraged to read your post Norm. I'm so encouraged that you can wrap some words around what's happening now. I realize that's not always possible, but it means so much to us.
(Remember dear friend, I'm guessing nearly everyone that's posting recently is female and we are the word-wonder folks.... we so appreciate the chat, the news, the conversations, the tidbits. There are many here who would get excited if you told us what you ate for breakfast..... let alone how you read and re-read words that have been posted here offering encouragement.)
So thanks for risking further, by posting about this process of living in the midst of grief that is unbearable. We'll hold you up.
That makes me think of a video that was posted on the beach thread. I wonder if I can figure out how to put the link here????...... I'll go ask someone.
We're here for you, brother.

(That's the first I've been away from a computer for over 33 hours..... since we were on Aruba last summer! It's probably a good thing.)

Norm, Thinking of You....I want to send some Sunshine your Way today....

Even through Life Storms sometimes You Need some Ray of Light & Lifted Up by Those around YOU!

Morning Norman. Sorry to be so late today but I couldn't get on the the Discussion Boards.
(((((Norman)))))
-
Yeah, Norm.... it was crazy...... coming on this morning and the site was all gummed up or something. Couldn't get it to work. I suppose that's good to shake up my 'addiction' here every once in a while.
We took all 3 of the kiddos to McDonalds indoor playground this morning. I'm ready for a nap!!
Hope you've got some plans for tomorrow!! (It's my birthday tomorrow, lucky #13, your present to me: it would be great to come on and see another post from you.... I know you check in to read more than you post..... but I'll look for an angel parade, or better yet a greeting to all of your supporters.)
Take care, brother.
