Five Year's Cancer Free
Today marks five years since my surgery --- Five years from hearing that the size and grade of the tumors might not be indicative of this patient's prognosis.
Since then, I have seen my older son graduate college and begin law school and my younger son graduate high school and begin college. I have met two great nephews, traveled, worked and enjoyed life!
It's been a long journey. I am here. I am doing well and I hope to keep going for many, many more years!

CONGRADULATION ON THE NEWS! That is so awesome to say that you have made through this journey at 5 years and have seen the things you desired to see. I look forward to those moments too. Still in treatment will get my tests in February to see if I am cancer free. I pray that I am as lucky and inspired as you are.
In God's Grace; Elizabeth

Congratulations Nan on reaching your 5 year milestone. I will be celebrating mine Jan 22, 2009. It is such a wonderful feeling but it seems like yesterday I got that dreaded diagnosis, but I am a better person because of it. Again, Congratulations.
